I saw this too, so sad. I have a feeling with it happening at 2 am that it may have to do with someone falling asleep at the wheel, so to speak. Just relieved there was minimal injuries, could have been so much more tragic.

Hello everyone!

We had a good day today so far. We woke up early and about 20 of us from the family went to Cracker Barrel for Breakfast. We then went to church and now we are back at the house relaxing before going out to the pool. It is a little overcast and showers and thunderstorms are forecast. If it gets bad, I am going to take the kids to see a movie, most likely Night at the Museum 2.

Sad story about the WDW monorail. I have read about the safeties in place. I am guessing the operator fell asleep. He must have crashed full speed.

Looks like you're correct looking at the Navigator.

Found a shopping guide that confirms this as well.

Just checked my Passporter Guide, and it states "Your ship docks at the Captain Hodge Wharf in Philipsburg"

The article that I read on FoxNews was pretty mum on details. Being an ER nurse The first question I have is which came first? Did the driver die and crash the Monorail or did the Monoral crash kill the driver? I've seen dozens of cases where the driver of a car has a massive heart attack and wrecks his car. I have no inside knowledge, but that could be a plausible explaination.
