Finding Nemo: the Musical!

So um, this chapter will be mostly all pictures, since I took so many during Nemo. I really like that show. A lot. And if you haven’t seen it (I don’t know what’s wrong with you), this will be like the whole show in one update because all of my pictures capture everything, except those penguins that I love so crappin’ much. And the song “In the Big Blue World” that gets stuck in your head for weeks to come. If you would want it stuck in your head or just want to take a listen, go to YouTube or iTunes. Yes, they have all of the songs from the musical on iTunes. I mean, who wouldn’t want all of those awesome songs on their iPod? A wacko.

Ok, like I said at the end of my last update, excuse moi. The end of my awesome last update, I said they kept making the announcement that the show would be delayed. I mean, I had no clue why. Maybe nemo got lost backstage or something and they had to find him? I had no clue.

I was wrong of course.

I mean, nemo getting lost backstage would’ve been better than what was actually going on.

And no there was no fist fight between me and “the other people.”

“I NEED SOME FOOD!”

Sorry about that. I was just listening to all of the awesome songs in the musical and “Fish are Friends not Food” came on and that is like my favorite line from the whole song. I mean, that lyric basically describes my life.

ANYWAYSSSSSS, I saw EMTs coming into the building.

Great.

I mean, you really don’t want to see EMTs coming into the building, especially in Disney.

So there was this guy towards the end of our row that was sitting on the stairs. I have no clue what was going on, but the EMTs were taking his blood pressure, and talking to this guy. He ended up being wheeled out in a wheelchair by the EMTs. I don’t know what was going on, but I hope he was ok.

“The other people” didn’t really care because they ended up being BFFs with these weirdos behind us and basically talked to them for the 20 minutes the show was delayed for. And Troy just kept yelling “NEMO!” whenever he showed up in the bubbles on the wall.

Mum and I ignored all of them, just like we usually do.

After the guy got wheeled out, the show started quickly after.

“in the big blue world, I’m gonna go explore…”

Mr. Ray is like the coolest thing ever.

“LALALLALALALLALA do you mind? I’m trying to swim here.”

“Fish are friends, NOT food!”

“I need a little taste…”

“We swim togeeeeeethhhhhhherrrrrr!”

“Grab some shell and surf the EAC with meeeeeeeeeeeee!”

“Go with FlOoooooooOOOOOOWWWwwwww!”

“You SOOO totally RAWK, Squirt!”

I just love the Crush and Squirt part. It’s so totally cool.

“We swim together (just keep swimming)…SWIM DOWN!” *cries* ♥♥♥

“IN THE BIG BLUE WORLD!!!!”

BUBBLES!!!! My inner child came out then.

The show was amazing as always, and Troy just LOVED it, and so did “the other people!” SHOCKER, I KNOW. They thought it was really cool and in my head I was like “SEEEEEEEE!!!! Disney is not just rides!!!!!”

WE headed out of the building, and by this time it was 7. We had less than an hour until our ADR and we NEEDED to get to the bus stops to make it to the other ride of WDW property. I mean, I was like yelling at “the other people” because they needed to hurry up so we could make it, but NOOOOO. We needed to buy some stuffed animals for Troy because he “really needed them” right at that exact moment. Like, REALLY?! WHAT DON’T THESE PEOPLE GET ABOUT GETTING TO AN ADR?!?!?!? It’s not that difficult!!!

So we had to stop at the stupid little Nemo kiosk to but Troy two stuffed animals. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I am a stuffed animal hoarder and I love them, but when we have an ADR to get to at the most amazing restaurant EVER, we really need to make it out of the park.

I mean, they probably had nemo stuffed animals at our destination we were going to AND they have them at Epcot at the Seas, but oh, wait. “Epcot is so boring!” And that comes from the woman who drinks nonstop…

I couldn’t believe when she said that. But I mean, I didn’t have to put up with drinking around the world!

And yes, I basically stood there with my mouth wide open in shock because someone said Epcot was BORING.

LIES LIES LIES.

But anyways. Let’s get back to me being annoyed.

So after Troy got his stupid stuffed animals, we headed to the front of the park. And oh my god, Animal Kingdom was INCREDIBLE at night. It transforms into a different park and I just wanted to stay because I was like “Are we actually in Animal Kingdom right now?” If you haven’t been at night, GO GO GO.

Can I just say how AMAZING Animal Kingdom is at night?!


FINALLY, we made it to the front and went to the bus stops.

And a bus was already there. “The other people” were five miles behind us and I had them yelling at me once again to slow down. UGH. We were never going to make it now.

I told them to run because I’m so nice to them. I hopped on the bus and thankfully our bus driver saw the freaks in his rearview mirror and waited for them. I really wish he didn’t wait and we could’ve left them at the bus stops, clueless as to where to go.

That would’ve been awesome.

It was 7:20 and our ADR was at 7:50. WE WERE GOING TO MAKE IT!​

Maybe this coming trip since it is my birthday, I will make them do it. And Carousel of Progress, too. So there. Looking forward to seeing where you ate !! And hopefully there will be food porn. Because I have decided to try not to eat my feelings any more and just look at the photos.

I've already received several messages from my sister-in-law and my step-brother-in-law's fiance asking about how to make dinner reservations, this after I've sent all the links and information. Both have asked when a good time to call is/was. I've been expecting their calls now for two weeks.

I got the cupcake at the Kusafiri bakery in Africa, if you haven't seen a picture of the cupcakes there you're missing out! I would have flipped if I knew i was going to be late an adr. I once flipped on my mom because we made it to the bus stop in time but then she forgot her AP and ID in the room and we missed the bus. You're pictures of Finding Nemo were awesome! I wish they would expand it to a full musical for Broadway.

I think the shows Disney puts on are awesome, like Nemo and FotLK and I don’t really get why people don’t see them. They just go on rides instead…

We have seen them all once. I think I could get them to see the shows again if we can get DH to take DS and we split up. But I hate to split up. Glad to know Meg is around to keep you awake. DS fell asleep at the American Adventure show before.
