Now that the kid's club registration is online...

how soon do you need to visit the club and pick up your pager?

We actually picked ours up at the terminal before we boarded. They gave my daughter her wrist band and gave us the pager for both kids as well as Navigators for the week for both of them. It was nice because we had a chance to review the Navigators while we were waiting to board.

We were on the 4 night at the end of Oct. and I don't remember seeing anyone in the terminal with pagers. While the kids played in the pool, I went to the club and got the pager. Then, the first time the kids went to the club they got the wrist band. Very quick - they just verify the info you gave online and make sure you know the password. You could also get the pager the first time you drop off the kid(s) at the club.

Oh, I hope that's how it is when we sail Dec. 17th. We'll be arriving early at the Port so it would be nice to have something to look at / plan while we're waiting. Which reminds me that I need to pack highlighters in my daybag! I was looking at the Navigators online (I forget the link - but I found it here on DISBoards) from the Nov. 5th Western ~ so I figure it will be very close to what we'll have when we sail.

We were on the last 3-nt in October and also did not have anyone in the terminal for the kids club.

We picked ours up when we dropped DS off for the first time. It was at approx. 6:30 (we had late dinner but were going to Palo that night at 6:30) so most kids were at the early seating for dinner. So the there was really no line to check in.

We were on the West Coast Cruise out of Long Beach in CA so maybe the process works differently in Port Canaveral. If so it's too bad because it was very convenient to take care of it before boarding.

I could not remember my password when he asked me (when I was picking up my pager). It had been 3 months since I registered . He helped me remember by giving me hints. I think that when you pick up the pager, they make sure you know the password so you have no problems. I'm guessing I'm not the only one who forgot thier password ...

I registered my guys online but there wasn't a place for a separate password beyond just registering to use the DCL site... is that the PW they wanted?

I know that you need to get your pager at the Club/Lab. They will not give you the pager if you try to drop of your DS or DD while the group is outside the Club/Lab. A mother I was behind in Animator's Palate while trying to drop off Mikey for lunch ran into this problem. She had to go back up to the Lab (this was for 10-12 year olds) and get the pager even though she had registered online.

If you register on-line, do you have to mail the medical forms they tell you to print out or can you just bring them and drop them off when you pick up your pager?
