It's very cute! But a mouse trap? Who thinks up these things? Obviously they are far more creative and have much more time than I do, lol!

I don't know about that one! I think the work is nice but Mickey and I mouse trap.....seems rather undisney! Something about the hand being under the trap part! If she left that off it owuld actually be funny...Like Mickey saying HA!
But lifting the idea and putting on something else would work better for me!

Having just used a mousetrap to send a visitor to the Big Peanut Butter Jar in the sky, I may have to pass on this one...too many bad memories!

BUT, it is pretty darned cute!

Thats really cute, but I think it is funny they altered it with Mickey Mouse on a mouse trap. Years ago when I went to a camp, they had gotten tons of the wooden mouse trap boards with no trap part attached to them. We used them for name tags and other art and craft activities.

Also when I was in high school, we had to make a ping pong ball launcher out of a mouse trap. Lot of neat things can be made with them.

not to worry, I'm sure I can find an altered project more to your liking. There are clipboards, lunchboxes, notebooks, ornaments, coinbooks, puzzle pieces, cd's (which by the way make really cute gift albums), lets see, whatelse? matchbooks, the family pet when he/she rolls around in the scrapbook supplies... any of those interest ya? maggie

Actually I was hoping to have more time & make some altered clipboards for my teacher friends at school for Christmas. Do you just buy plain clipboards at the store? Maggie, where would I find the best deals on clipboards?

This fits into next week's lesson plan in pre-algebra - unit rate: "Maggie finds xx clipboards at such & such store for $xxx & finds yy clipboards for $yyy at hte next store. which is a better buy?" Oh, look, I have Monday's warm-up/drill!

so glad I fit into a lesson plan. currently there aren't any great deals on clipboards.. at least not at target. (that would be a seaonal item). check between office depot, target and staples. the best deal on klenex right now I can tell ya... but I'll save that for a future post. maggie
