Back to school today
Haven't checked in for quite some time, this summer has been a whirlwind! The boys (9 and 13) went back to school today so I finally have some free time and access to computer. We are not planning on doing any shore excursion, maybe rent a car and do a self tour with some beach time. Any one done this or have any suggestion on where to start researching?
I think I will hit the library and check out some travel books to see what options there are. Tyna |

Tyna - Can't say we've ever ventured out on our own that much. The furthest we ever got at any of the ports for a non-excursion was to take a taxi somewhere. The beaches are so beautiful on the Eastern so we are hoping to get some beach time, too.
Hope the boys have a good transition into the new school year! Classes started on campus here in PA so it's been hectic. Can't wait for it to calm down! |

No. I'm gonna play the waiting game. Jetblue is still outrageous and I couldn't touch Delta with a ten foot pole. So, I really don't have a choice but to wait for Southwest. Something tells me the flight down will be much more expensive than on the way back.

We'll be flying into Orlando two days prior and staying at Port Canaveral. We initially thought we'd visit WDW a few days before, but then changed our minds, thinking that we might overtire ourselves before the big cruise. Oh well...we will just have to come back another time to do WDW. ![]() We're very excited too! It'll be our first Disney Cruise as well and our DD6 and DS4's first cruise ever. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Time to bump again!
Southwest is getting closer! They just opened up March! Although, I just moved into my new house and there are sooooooo many íncidentals that had to be bought. That coupled with the mortgage payment has me holding on to this cruise with the skin of my teeth! I'm thinking I need to re-work my monthly budget again The food bill can usually be shaved.Except my 3 little DS's have become eating machines overnight! ![]() Is that snail really heading towards 6 months! Yikes! |

This was in my Mousesavers letter. Thought it might interest some people:
Water Water Everywhere - Disney Cruise Line Now Offers H2O Plus Spa Products in All Staterooms
Disney Cruise Line guests soon will be able to absorb the enriching benefits of the ocean while sailing on the high seas. Beginning in October, the cruise line is introducing H2O Plus Spa bath and shower products to all 877 guest accommodations on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder. These high-end products, derived from marine botanicals, bring a piece of the ocean into every stateroom. The high-quality, water-based H2O Plus products being stocked on the Disney Cruise Line ships include Sea Marine Revitalizing Shampoo, Marine Collagen Conditioner and Hydrating Body Butter from the H2O Plus premium Spa line -- all in uniquely designed, co-branded bottles. Guests staying in concierge-level suites will find additional H20 Plus offerings such as Sea Salt Body Wash and Solar Relief Gel. The upgrade of every family-friendly stateroom onboard both the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder also features new Sealy Posturepedic Premium Plush Euro-top mattresses, new pillows and Frette 300 thread-count, 100 percent Egyptian cotton linens. In addition, larger, more luxurious bath towels and bath sheets have been added to all stateroom bathrooms. In all concierge-level suites, there are comfortable duvets and a new "Pillow Talk" program which allows concierge guests to choose from a selection of hypo-allergenic, feather and therapeutic memory foam pillow options.

Wow, that list is so long. I didn't realize that many people had posted!
2 of my kids are close in age to yours. However, there's no DH for me. That's why Disney is the only cruiseline for me. It's gives me the major break I need! So Disney fanatic, what's your cruise history? Times and fav. stuff? Last edited by pershing; 10-13-2006 at 02:02 PM. |
