CRUISE MUSIC - UPDATED OCTOBER 2009 - see first post

**** MJ (MMOUSE37) HERE....PLEASE NOTE THAT I MERGED SEVERAL CRUISE MUSIC THREADS INCLUDING THE ONE FROM YESTERDAY TO CREATE THIS ONE THREAD. IF YOU POSTED ON ANOTHER CRUISE MUSIC THREAD YOUR POSTS ARE NOW IN THIS THREAD.

ALSO NOTE THAT THE COMPILED LIST OF SONGS IS ON PAGE 8, POSTS #108 AND #112 ****

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now back to Aiken4Mickey's post....

I am putting together a CD of music that reminds me of our past cruises. Songs like "Let's Get This Party Started", "YMCA", "I Won't Say I'm In Love"(from Herc. show).......I thought this would be fun to listen to on our 7 hour drive and prior to cruise....I've got my dd (9) and 5 of her friends going.....it will a surprise.....so, this music could be getting them in the mood without even knowing it........

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Song

We are going to go with WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR.........not hip hop or pop rock but it is what the ship horns play as you depart!!!!! So everytime we hear that now, we think of the cruise ship

Have a MAGICAL DAY!!!

ARRRGGGHH

Just yesterday I was thinking of this, and the song was stuck in my head all day.

Picture this: Upper deck, Cozumel sail away party. About ten new friends. two EMPTY bottles of Bailey's Irish Cream on the table.

And the music comes on.

You know, they know it. Up to dance:

AY, Macarena.

Ayup.

Now it's back in my head.

Get it out!

Get it out!

Since our first cruise in 1998, "Go the Distance" has for some reason always brought me back to the cruise. I remember very well Hercules singing this song in the show on the cruise and he did so well.

Then there's YMCA, Celebration, the Macarena, and the Cha Cha Slide - of course!

Then after our last cruise, two songs that I already had to remind me of our trips in 1998 and Disneyland Paris, now remind me of our last cruise and that would be "Remember the Magic" which is from 1998 and we heard it before the "Golden Mickey's" show and then "Dancin, a Catchy Rythm" which is from the parade in Disneyland Paris and we heard it before the Kid's Cub graduation.

So those are the main songs that remind me of the Disney cruises.
