Angry Porn Ordered on Cable Box, Grrr

We have digital cable and high speed internet through Time Warner Cable. They seem fine, the services and so forth. In our second bill we had two porn movies that were ordered that totaled $25! Now, I didn't think DH would order that but I thought it'd be best to ask first, he said no he didn't order them. We live in a town house next to lots of other town houses, when I looked outside I could see all the cable connections as clear as day outside, so someone technically could hook a cord upto our connection. Well, I called TWC when that bill came out and said we didn't order those and the nice young man took them off our statement. I was looking online today at the "unbilled transactions" and there was a porn movie! I called DH and asked him politely if he ordered it and he said no. I called TWC and the lady told me to how to change the PIN on the box and block those channels. I hope this works, this is getting crazy! Has anyone else had this problem? See, I wouldn't mind paying the $10.95/porn movie if we HAD ordered them, but we didn't, and I sure am not going to pay for other people's porn addictions!

I am opinionated, independent-minded, self-righteous and contumacious. Deal with it.

We have cable and have never had this problem. You may want to ask the cable company to come check your cabling (inside and out). Make sure no one has spliced into your line or that some wires somewhere are not crossed.

I think you need to question DH in person and not over the phone. If he looks to the left when he says no, he's lyin!

My friend at work has had these same problems. Not always porn - sometimes just movies - ordered at times when NO ONE was home so she KNOWS her kids and/or husband aren't lying or forgot! And while they were nice to begin with - they've been pretty nasty about it since then. She is the ONLY one in the house that knows the PIN and it still happens. She ended up having them take off ANY access to pay per view or premium cable.
