This August will be our third cruise on the wonder and for the third time we will have rooms 7580 and 7582, cat.5. Not far from the elevators and the view from the verandah in Nassau is of the Atlantis resort and from CC is the beach and water. Love to watch the banana boat take off. I like the location alot because I think it's close to everything.

Cat 9

Most of my cruises have been on decks 1 or 2. These are the cheaper rooms with one big advantage. These are the decks that you disembark on while in the ports! There may be more noise in the hallways as the Guest are debarking/ect but my family has always been early risers and we are usually the firsts off to enjoy the port. The other big advantage, if you spend a full day off the ship like at CC and are exhausted when you get back on board you are right near your room. No need to stand in a long line for the elevators or climb the stairs.

I say all this but I am booked in a Cat 4 on my August 4th cruise. A guy needs to splurge every once in awhile!

It wasn't the one with the Verandah

We were upgraded from an 8 to a 5 in January. Solid Wall--we didn't like the solid wall, and 7132 did not have the steamer trunck, either. So our favorite stateroom on the Wonder would be our first DCL room ever, 7004. Have also done 7012 and 7014 on the Magic. Love Cat. 8's on deck 7.

Last July we were in 7568 (Cat 5 - w/veranda) and our adult son and grandson were in a cat 11 across the hall from us. We loved the location--everything was perfect! We were on vacation and on the Wonder, so what more could we ever ask (other than to be in the Disney suite)?

We loved our Deck 1 inside stateroom with no windows....after the kids were up until midnight or 1 AM every night, it was pitch dark in the morning..one of my boys got up at 9:30 AM to go to the bathroom and when he saw me he hugged me and said "good night!". I was thrilled the 3 of them were all sleeping in!! There wasn't a lot of traffic in the hallways since there wasn't anything else down there but staterooms (and the medical facility) so it was pretty quiet too.

a steamer trunk is a big box with shelves in it so you can store some extra clothes - and not every room has one - but i believe most do

I think DW and I are with Barb and her DH... 5650 is so nice - tucked away and quiet.

We just got back from the May 1-5 Wonder and we loved our room - 6562. It was close to the mid-ship elevators, but in the middle of everything, so we rarely used the elevators. My daughter just ran down one flight to the Oceaneer Lab. Even though we were close to the elevators, the room was not noisy at all. And the view off of the verandah was beautiful in the ports!

That being said, I don't think room 6552 or 6572 would be all that different!

I just sailed on the 5/1-5/4 Wonder and was in room 7623 and LOVED it! It's a catagory 11....right round the corner from secret deck 7 It's the perfect room for a couple sailing with NO children! It is small....but the location is GREAT and like I said...perfect for a couple. Not much noise at all and it was great getting up in the morning and watching the ship dock at Castaway Cay with our coffee and NO CROWDS on secret deck 7 It's also located right near the aft elevators which takes you to all restaurants
