Emerald Isle question...
okay, I know that many of you have booked intermediate and then chosen from the Emerald Isle (providing you have membership). Tell me what's typically on the isle. We HAVE to have a minivan and I sooooo want the savings of booking an intermediate with the two codes I have we're looking at about $160.00 for 7 days. If I go ahead and book the minivan to be on the safe side then we're looking at $255.00.
That's almost $100.00 that we could REALLY use at Disney. What have you guys seen on the isle????? |

Don't count on a mini-van, they are rare. See this thread for reports:

but you may get lucky when you get there
others have posted there was little to be had on the EA and they were directed to take something from the Executive Aisle.... but, that would be like rolling the dice you might get lucky, then again you might not |

I am 5 for 5 getting an Intermediate on the EA and never anything better. You should rent what you need and not hope for anything.

If you NEED a minivan, you need to reserve a minivan. I would not want to start my vacation off hoping there is a minivan on the aisle. Last trip there were 30 intermediates on the aisle. No upgrades.

I've only used it once, but all I recall seeing were intermediates. I would agree with the others, if you really need the space in a van, you'll need to rent the van. Sorry.

Just a hint if you are still concerned.... You can have two ressies and cancel the not needed at the gate. There wasn't a penalty or loss when I did it. I couldn't handle the "crap shoot" but the EI turned out just fine. We had a saturn Vue and cancelled the higher reservation. Good Luck.
