Law Enforcement Discount?

Does WDW give a room discount for law enforcement or government employees? We have a friend who's a State Trooper and a BIL who's a US Marshall. I thought it might help me convince them to join us someday!
Thanks!

The swan and dolphin give govt. discounts on their rooms subject to availability. For example the rack rate is $240 plus and the govt. disc.t on the room we got is for a rate of $159. You must show govt. id at check in. My dh work badge is imprinted property of u.s. dept. of ... (sorry, I never post this part on a public forum)

Nope, the Disney resorts do not give a law enforcement discount. They did for a limited time after 9/11 but they don't offer it anymore. However, law enforcement personnel can use the government discount at the Swan/Dolphin. This discounts can be hard to come by though. Good Luck!

The Swan and Dolphin do but Disney hotels do not. I have used the LE one at the Swan. the rooms go quickly and the discount isn't as deep as it used to be when I went. All I needed was my work ID when checking in.

I have a friend who travels for the USG and he stays at the value resorts. No discount, but it is within his government per diem, so the USG will pay for it.
