National Car down for dates June 16 and beyond.

My June 14-22 rate has not dropped in the last week, but the rates for pickups June 16 and beyond just dropped a ton today.

I have a friend who is picking up on June 16 and his rates dropped from 159.99 to 113.99 base rate for a full size for the week. After using Priceless and $20 off Ent coupon, his total price for a week is 109.xx all taxes included. That is awesome for a full size, Emerald Reserve!

He was a bit pumped when I told him I just saved him over $40!

Gotta love it!

National rate drop

Just rebooked and dropped my rate for July by $31. $165 for 10 days, how can you beat it?

The question is how loooooow can they go??

My trip is in August and I am down to $128 for 8 days EA, using Priceless and entertainment codes.

My next concern, are they going out of business. Or does the fact we keep canceling and rebooking have something to do with this. I can not believe my rates have dropped over $150 during the past 60 days.

I wonder if these post-May ressies dropping are a result of people waiting to do the Magical Express, hence more availability, hence cheaper rates via supply and demand?

I have 5 days in June (priced as a week of course) with an intermediate EA for $98 inclusive of all taxes and fees. I am pretty pleased with that.

I think that Magical Express has a lot to do with it, but it also appears that folks in April are getting really good rates too.

I am not going to argue with it at all. As someone said already, how low can they go? I keep checking to see if my rate will go down, but realistically, how much lower can it go? I am already at $127.xx for 8 days on the EA! I paid 184.xx last August for a week on the EA!

The Priceless code (Contract ID 6600330) is from Priceless Vacations, which is a travel agency. I've used it with no problems.
I've been checking the rates every week, and today it's down AGAIN! The Priceless code combined with the Entertainment coupon, consistently gets the lowest rates. I'll keep watching http://www.rentalcodes.com/ to see if a Product Rate code is also available closer to our date!
I'm down to $144 for 9 days! I've never gotten rates like this before.

My 11 day minivan rental on June 13th hasn't budged from the all-in price of $418.99 using Priceless and the entertainment coupon. Has anyone done better for a minivan in mid-June?

Tried to re-book but right now the national site is down. I did get a quote of $165.00 (!) for 10 days intermediate emerald aisle over July 4. Hoping to snag that once the site comes back up.

That will be $100 less than last October - and I thought that rate was very good.

I'm in the same boat; waiting for the site to come back up so I can rebook.
