DTD Resort ???

What DTD resorts are within walking distance of DTD and which one is the closest?

I am hoping for a code to come out for a Disney resort in June, but if they don't, I am considering checking out one of the 'non Disney' DTD resorts. We will be at DTD on Friday night anyway, so it would be nice to be able to just walk over.
Thanks,
DJ

disney only owns the DVC resort - SSR - it is new and construction is still going on - however you can rent DVC points from an owner and save you some money.

the downtown disney hotels are no owner or operated by Disney - they just leased the land to these hotels - there are seven

I realize these aren't owned by Disney. I am a DVC member, but I am out of points (and don't want to borrow because I have plans for those future points). I just need a place for 1 night because the rest of the time we are staying at OKW (on this year's points).

I checked the link you gave, thanks! Looks like the prices aren't any lower than the Disney value resorts, so if no codes come out for June, we may just go with Pop Century for our first night before we move to OKW.

Thanks!
