just found filters for $3.49 a piece at http://www.fantes.com

(you have to select water filtration systems on left hand side of page. Link to product won't work for some reason)

this is about half what my local grocery store charges for these !

the site doesn't work!! i enter the seach for Brita and it can't find anything! all I get is this yellow page that tell about shipping.
