Is the 3rd week in April a bad time to go?

I don't think its a bad time at all to go, Easter is early this year so that crowd will be outta there by then. I have been mid april before and it was really nice. There maybe colleges out on spring break during that time, I am not sure.

The weather is pleasant.

It's our first trip to Disney and we're going the 3rd week as well. Last year, I tried to figure out the BEST time to go since we were flexible, but now I'm kind of worried too. I didn't even THINK about the 50th celebration plus I also heard that week is when NY schools have spring break (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). I think it's definitely one of the best weeks to go in the Spring but I doubt it will be like fall attendance or early spring. Have fun!Just expect crowds like I am and hope for the best.

I think the 50th celebration begins the week of May 5th.

It is always school vacation week here in MA. Still, there is no bad time to go to Disney!

You're right - while some NY schools close one week earlier or later, all the schools in my area will be off that week. Hehe, I'll be at WDW!!

I heard about the schools being out ip north too, but since it's not considered a "busy" season, I think we'll be fine!
