Favorite week in Feb
Which week in Feb. would you go for optimum weather & crowds? Discounts on resort price are not an issue.
Jan.29 - Feb.5 Feb.5 - Feb 12 Feb.12 - Feb 19 Feb.19 - Feb 26 |

I'm probably pretty sure that Feb 19-26 would probably be the worst...since the Daytona 500 & Presidents week falls in that timeframe. Would the previous week Feb 12-19 also be bad for those 2 reasons plus Valentines Day? The previous week, Feb 5-12, could be bad for the Super Bowl & Mardi
Gras? I guess I would just have to worry about the weather for Jan. 29-Feb 5? Any advice is appreciated. |

We've gone President's week and the last week in February because that is when our kid's mid-winter break fell. The last week in Feb. we had some low's in the 30's and highs in the 70's. President's week we had 70's and 80's but clouds or rain almost every day. February weather is pretty unpredictable in Florida. As far as the crowds, President's "Weekend" was pretty crowded, but I'm told it was nothing like Easter etc. This year we get to go the week before President's week, finally, Value season and a code in the same vacation!

Last year we went to WDW on Valentines day, and a few days after. It was really nice down there and it wasn't that crowded.

Thank you both! That week of Valentine's day doesn't sound like such a bad idea now.

We like the first 2 weeks in Feb. Weather is unpredictable, but crowds are very manageable. We've been a few times on Pres. Day/Daytona to take advantage of school break. We did this last year and swore we would never do it again. The Friday of race weekend, we could hardly walk through MK. Lines were longer than the July '04 trip. We are going Jan 29- feb 5 to avoid the crowd.

Apparently the parks are not busy at all Superbowl weekend, but MK is crazy the Monday after the bowl b/c of the MVP parade. This year, with Superbowl being in Jacksonville, all the crowds will be up their, well at least for the weekend. I just hope my Broncos are in Jacksonville Feb 6, then Plummer coming down Main st on the 7!!!!!!!

First week in February is great. It's empty, sort of warm and empty!
