Your Official Happy New Year from Times Square!
I can always see the ball drop from my window here. During the countdown on tv, I lower the sound at #3 and can hear the roar of the crowd counting, "Two, One!" then there is the roar of the crowd which is deafening even from here, blocks away.
 The fireworks were incredible this year, bigger than in most years. So this is YOUR official Happy New Year!  from someone at Times Square. Have a safe, happy, peaceful, prosperous & creative new year everyone.

We were celebrating with dd 8, using those confetti poppers, getting all excited, and I exclaim, "wait wait, its only 11pm here" dh gave me a look... oh yeah we coulda put dd in bed!! (until she saw the clock in her room that is!! *G)  :jumping4: :jumping4:
