Well, I finally met a nasty CM. I called the Disney Mail Order line and asked if they could order one for me. They woman said that I have to order it in person. When I told her that some people I knew (you guys) had ordered them over the phone she told me I was lying and that she did not have time for this. Yeah, she got reported! I was not pissy about it in the least! That did not call for that kind of attitude.

They are going to engrave them now and mail them to me. I ordered 7 of them and we went through all 7 names twice spelling them out each time. I was sure to ask that I could personalize the pins with any name and she said yes. She said it would take 10 days to arrive. Since I ordered them on Saturday, I'm sure they won't get mailed until Monday and I am sure that 10 days is 10 "business" days, so I don't expect them until after Feb. 4th.

G00fyDad - posted too quick before I read your additional post. I had also called the WDW mail order number 1st and was told that they no longer sold the pins. Even after mommyrom had said she had ordered them at the DTD Christmas store, so I didn't push it, hung up and called the posted number for the DTD Christmas store and left my message. The CM who called back from the Christmas store was very nice, a little difficult to understand due to her thick accent, but we managed and I am happy that I am getting them now and is one less thing to stress about. Weird that calling the store directly is the way you have to order them because I figured that if the pins are being sold anywhere on WDW property that WDW mail order would know about it. Lately, I have been experiencing comunication problems with customer service reps, not just at Disney but other phone calls I have had to make in my everyday life. Everyone needs to get their stories straight because I haven't gotten the same answer twice all week.

Keep us updated and let us know whether they call you back today.

Well, I just went about literally around the world being connected from person to person at WDW trying to get in contact with Celebrity 5 & 10. (The only other place that sells these badges) After I finally got them on the phone, she tells me that they cannot order them by phone. I have to be there! AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGG!!!!!!! I then told her that I REALLY need them for my little girl and boy. She then said that she still cant do it over the phone. So I told her that I was afraid they would run out (like they did this past Sept) before I get there. She told me that there is no chance of that because they just got the new styles in and they got alot of them. Yeah, I said new styles!!! They are getting ones in that have Mickey (same), AND Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, etc.... !!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!

This is my first time on this thread and can see some of you have been successful with this and others not so successful. We will be going in June with our 18 month old and 4 year old. I KNOW the four year old would love it, would you recommend it for the 18 month old too? For those of you who had luck recently where were you able to get them? Thanks. Do they just pin on?

G00fyDad, thanks for the info!

DTD hasn't called me back yet, but if there are new styles out at MGM I'll wait and get them in a couple weeks. (Hubby and I are taking a quick trip w/o the girls for our anniversary.) I won't need them until our spring break trip in April anyway. This can be a surprise for the girls.

Was this the blank personalized pins that Celebrity carries? Cause I highly doubt they'll have my girls names. And where in MGM is this shop? Right side after walking in? Do they do it for you on the spot or do you have to go back later to pick up I wonder...

1.) Yeah. same ones. They have blank and completed ones. I can never find my daughters name spelled the way we spell it either. Kaitlyn. It's always either Caitlyn or Katelyn.

2.)That's the funny part. I've never been. But when I talked to the girls at the Emporium they told me that they didnt know the name but it was second shop on the right just inside MGM and that they also did embrioderies. I had to call the main Disney line and tell them what I had been told. The guy there started laughing and told me it was called the Celebrity 5&10.

3.)Yes, they can do it for you there while you wait. Unless they are REALLY busy. Then you may have to come back.

I left a message yesterday and today at the Christmas store, but no one has called me back. Do they ever answer the phone or do you have to always leave a message?
