I believe that MS will be taking our ME reservations, starting in March. Now, that info may have changed since I read it awhile back. But, as DVC members,we are able to use this perk.

While this sounds nice, personally I would prefer to pick my own bags up. I would prefer to limit the number of places my luggage can get lost or delayed.

Thanks for all of the information. I emailed my travel agent and she claims I don't have to provide her with my flight information to participate in the service. ( I booked that on my own) It didn't make sense to me - so I called Disney and they said of course they need that information or how else would they know my family and our luggage were there?

Not happy with her at all since the beginning. I emailed Disney as well so I can forward the reply to her so she can see it in black and white. I wish I could handle any changes, etc. on my own and avoid her all together.

Well if your TA did not book your air, then it is likely that is what she is saying, you have to sign up for it on your own? Like you can do it straight through Disney yourself? I don't know. Just wondering aloud.

Nope - she booked the Magical Express for me. I just don't think she's up on everything.

Question DVC Members

Will this service be available to DVC members or is it just for packages or such?

DVC members must go through their Gest Services...as far as Travel agents go I would tell you this...cancel with your travel agent and book directly with WDW they can handle everything and then when something goes wrong your dealing with Disney and not your travel agent...remember one thing the travel agent owns the res not you...it can be a headache.

Disney saves the day!!

I emailed Disney and they said my travel agent is wrong - they do need our flight information - as I had thought. They said they can handle adding it to my reservation and that I don't have to go through my agent!

Now I can have so peace of mind knowing my family and our luggage will arrive where we need to be.
