Probably nobody will post, but what is the worst thing you ever did? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Ok, as a kid I did lots of stupid stuff.... get drunk, smoked pot, stole a street sign, punched my high school principal ( it really was a mistake.... long story )

But the "worst" thing I was ever involved in ( and I was really an observer, though I did like the idea ) was a bunch of us blew up a cemetary caretaker's tractor.

Long story, but he was a very catankerous old man, who always ruined our day by calling the police on us for playing baseball in an unused field owned by the cemetary. We never casued any harm before. We never left the place a mess. We just played baseball. And this was about the only place for miles that there was an area big enough to play baseball on.

Eventually I straightened by butt out when I went to college, which I started at age 20 or 21. Being that age, with a bunch of 18 year old freshmen made me realize what a goof I had been when I was 15 - 18 years old.

EDIT: Hard to believe, but I went to tech school and regular high school and I was class president of both schools, and state VP of the VICA organization ( Vocational Industrial Clubs of America ).

I'm not going to get over that one all day!!!

I'd say my most stupid moments stem from my tendency to stick my foot in my mouth. I'm absolutely famous for it. I really should stop talking altogether.

Like when I complained TO a deaf woman about her hearing aid.

"My G*d what is that awful noise???"

The worst thing I ever did was "out" my dear friend and neighbor, to the most gossipy girl in school, when I was 15 and stupid. I wish I could turn back the hands of time. He's long since forgiven me, but I've yet to forgive myself.

I almost caught my neighbor's garage on fire while playing with matches as a kid.

I stole my step-fathers coin collection, twenty-five cents at a time. I didn't know it was a collection, just money to buy candy bars with.

I ditched a prom date the day after the prom. We went just to get me into the prom (which he was aware of) and I was nice to him and everything, but then he told me that he thought he loved me after I had known him for two days! I was spooked and we made plans to go to Cedar point the next day, and I told my friends I did not want to go with him, so we didn't pick him up the next day. I still feel bad.

My brother and I stole the "tot-finder" stickers out of all the mailboxes in our townhome complex. We felt so guilty, we threw them in a dumpster. When my mom found out, she made us retrieve them from the dumpster, and return them to every mailbox.

To this day I am horrified that I did that.

I killed my gerbil...it was awful, I accidentally dropped a heavy log on it when I was cleaning the cage and it was twitching and bleeding through it's nose. Since noone was home to help me, I ended up putting in in a bag and squeezed the bag until it stopped moving. (I was trying to put it out of it's misery quickly, I was 13 so I didn't realize this may not have been the best idea)

Then I buried it in a shallow grave in the back yard. Wouldn't you know it, the cat dug it up and was playing with it...it came back to haunt me. I still have trouble living with being a murderer. I really loved the little guy.

Skipped school with my moms car with some friends then hit (ran into) a parked car right by school by not paying attention to what I was doing. It was not good.

I'm KNOW there are lots more stupid things, but I think I block them out! LOL!!! I do know that I too put my foot into my mouth many times...many, many times. I wish sometimes I'd think before I speak, but oh well...that's me I guess.

That was probably my sister! My sisters are deaf and they never know when they are squealing!
