Discovery Cove's Aviary

Hi, I was excited to learn that DC has an aviary. I am curious as to what kind of birds are there. I am a huge fan of all hook bills (parrots), do they have these and if so what kinds?

Have taken some furniture polish and sprayed it in the air, so it smells like I was cleaning

Thrier website www.discoverycove.com has a list of all birds in the aviary, and all the "water" animals/fish as well.

I think you have to look under animals on the left hand side.

The aviary is Discovery Cove's "best kept secret." The birds will eat right out of your hand and they have a variety of "bird chow," from fruit to meal worms, to attract different species. Some of the birds are so unusual looking that they look more like painted folk pottery than actual birds. A freat place to visit again and again.

The good new is that they are expanding it.
