I am getting teary eyed and that's really strange for me. But I just want to thank the transporation board for helping to make my vacation dreams come true.

My dear GF and her family have been planning to come to Disney for as long as I have. (323 days) She has never been to Disney. Airfare from Illinois was running over $2,000 for the 5 of them. Since we are staying Poly conceirge level, it was becoming cost prohibitive.

Then they planned on driving. 30 hours with a toddler. Not good.

Enter the wonderful DIS. I saw that Airtran has a sale, looked at their flights and shot her an email. Two hours later they were booked and now I know my grilfriend and her family will really be able to join my family at Disney.

I can't thank you enough!!!

You're right, these boards are an incredible resource and a place where lots of nice people are happy to help each other. I'm so glad everything worked out for your friends to go on the trip with you. Have a fabulous time!

Steffy you are absolutely correct. These boards are wonderful. I'm taking my neice to WDW next summer, and when I read on these boards that SPirit was having a sale I jumped on the deal to buy our tickets .

THis is such a wonderful place.

Thanks for the replies, Dan and zipplesmom.

Since I'm on the transportation board I'll just mention the money I saved on transporation. I was able to get a credit on my own airfare for $365. because of this board. $73.00 per ticket.

But the total DIS forums have saved me a bundle for this trip.

On the plane I'll be carrying my half price Pal Mickey, my $1.00 a box Christmas cards and my SIL will be driving the RPDE for half.

I love the DIS!!!
