If I can remember correctly, less than 1 hour. Forty minutes maybe. Have a great trip!!!!

If traffic is light, about 45 minutes.

I think some people are being a little optimistic. According to Yahoo! Maps, the distance from Lake Buena Vista to Port Canaveral is about 64 miles. If you drove there in 45 minutes you would be averaging 85 miles per hour. That time makes sense from the airport. Plan on an hour from WDW.

It can be anywhere from 45 mins to 1/12 hours depending on traffic, AND the route taken. I-4 is not quicker/shorter. Take 417 to the Beeline. As long as the Beeline is moving it does fly. 70-75mph is low average speeds.

Tracey,

I agree with Mark. Times can vary, and 417 Greeneway/Beeline is much better than I-4/Beeline. Plan on an hour.

Most important thing for you to remember-Stay on the Right side of the road!!

See you in about 40 days! We plan on getting there about 10:30

Bob

We've done it a couple times now. I agree with 45-50 minutes.

Bah! Don't we pay tolls on the Beeline and the Greeneway so that we can average 85 mph?

LOL! I don't doubt that some people drive this fast. But in order to average 85mph, you have to spend much of the time going faster still....

If we drive 417 to Beeline, is it possible to stop on Atlanta Ave (by the Radisson) to drop off our Avis rental car?

jiminyC_fan, The Beeline ends at A1A/Atlantic Ave. Also of note, Avis is not at the Radisson any longer, it's a block or two down the road now.
