Lotusphere 2007 anyone??

I am wondering if anyone has been during the Jan. Lotusphere conference.
My husband may go this year (Jan.21-25th I think) and if he does the kids and I are definitely tagging along.
Last year they had room rates for Lotusphere at the swan/dolphin and the yacht and beach club I believe so that would be dandy. We just stayed at POP in May and would love to try another spot although we loved POP.
If anyone has been...would you recommend swan/dolphin over Yacht/Beach club for the convention....I don't wanna have to have a car rental.
Do both offer the ME? and can you walk to swan/dolphin from yacht/beach so if we stay there he can walk to swan/dolpin for conference?
Any thoughts?
Also where would I find weather info for this time...historical of course.
Thanks
Denise

They will all be about the same. You won't have room charge privileges in the parks at the S/D.

You can't use DME for the S/D

It's a five minutes stroll from the YC to the S/D, allow about ten for the BC.

It can be pretty chilly with daytime highs averaging upper 60's. We were there that timeframe about ten years ago and had daytime high's in the 40's for a few days. You might also get lucky and get upper 70's, it's truly a crapshoot.

that's some great info. thanks.
I was thinking it would be nice to stay at the yacht or beach club.
I am gonna start to look for room pictures/layouts to see if there is any size difference in rooms we would get.
I have heard some rumblings about "mould" in the swan/dolphin and my son has an immune system disorder where he "CANNOT" be exposed to mould/fungus so I don't wanna take any chances.
Thanks again.

Mold is all over the place in Florida due to our constant humidity. I'm highly allergic to twelve different types, and while I do avoid it, I run into it in the least likely places sometimes.

I was at WDW during Lotusphere 2006. (Not a participant, I was just there.)

Although I didn't stay at YC, BC, BW, S or D, I spent a lot of time around Cresent Lake. It was lovely. The weather was delightful and the crowds were fine. If you have an opportunity to go next year, I'd recommend it. If convention convenience is important to you, stay in Swan or Dolphin. If family time is more important, try YC, BC, or BW.
