șoș "13" more days to 2004 Mousefest Mega-Mouse Meet...yeeaaa!

șoș Last year was a lot fun to actually see all the different Founders of all the great Disney web sites and all the authors of the great Disney books.

șoș Also to meet everyone that you see on the different web sites in person at the different Walt Disney World Parks.

șoș Here is a tenative list of all the things that are going on at the 2004 Mousefest. I'll update them as more information comes out.

If you have two free hours on Saturday afternoon on December 11, 2004 from one to three, then try to come to the Mega-Mousefest meet at the Swan Resort. It is free (as are most of the meets), and here is a tentative list and schedule of all those Disney Disney website founders and Disney authors that will be there for you to meet. It was great last year with over 300 Disney loving people at the Mega-Mouse Meet alone. So come to this once in a lifetime event.

But don't worry. Most meets only have 10 to 20 people each. And last year their were only about a 100 at the MVMCP out of a possible 20,000 MVMCP tickets sold.

Everyone from different web sites try to come to the Mousefest Mega-Mouse Meet at the Swan Resort on Saturday, December 11, 2004. Last year we had 300. Let's make a list of DISers that may come.

șoș Disney Website Founders and Leaders: șoș

șoș AllEarsNet.com and ALL EARSźNewsletter - Deb Wills
șoș MagicalMountain.net - Nathan Rose
șoș Tagrel.com - Dave Card
șoș DisneyCentral.com - Scott Liljenquist
șoș MousePlanet.com - Mike Scopa, Lani Teshima, Adrienne Vincent-Phoenix
șoș TheMouseForLess.com (aka DisneyDollarless) - Binnie Betten, Pam Forrester and Linda Stockwell
șoș Mousesavers.com - Mary Waring
șoș JimHillMedia.com - Jim Hill

șoș Disney Guidebook Authors: șoș

șoș Jennifer Watson and Dave Marx, "PassPorter WDW" and "PassPorter's Field Guide to the Disney Cruise Line".
șoș Bob Sehlinger, "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World"
șoș Steven M. Barrett, M.D., "The Hassle-Free Walt Disney World Vacation" and "Hidden Mickeys" and "A Field Guide to Walt Disney World's Best Kept Secrets."
șoș Cara Goldsbury, "The Luxury Guide to Walt Disney World."
șoș Louis Mongello, "The Walt Disney World Trivia Book."
șoș Kelly Monaghan, "The Other Orlando" and "Universal Orlando."

Hi, everyone. "26" more days until the 2004 Mousefest Mega-Mouse Meet.

Below is a quote from Jennifer and Dave Marx with two links showing a BROWSING version of the Mousefest Pocket Guide and a larger link that allows you to PRINT and CUT OUT and STAPLE together your own 2004 Mousefest Pocket Guide for both the sea and land portions.

Quote:
The Pocket Guide is intended to be a concise list of the meets so you can carry it with you while you’re on your vacation. We take the information already available online and format it carefully. We’ll distribute free, printed copies of this booklet at the events. If you’d like a sneak peek at the Pocket Guide before you arrive, you have two options:

1. Download the "Browse" PDF file -- it’s specially formatted for easy viewing onscreen. You’re also welcome to print it if you wish. The actual printed booklet will be smaller. Download here: Browse version (2 MB) http://www.passporter.com/mousefest/...uidebrowse.pdf

2. Download the "Print" PDF file -- it's formatted to allow you to print an actual booklet that much likes what we'll be distributing at the events. This version isn't very helpful if you just want to look at it onscreen, however. The pages should be printed back-to-back, then folded in half and stapled. Download here: Print version (5 MB) http://www.passporter.com/mousefest/...guideprint.pdf

Note: You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print either of these files. Most people have this on their computers already, but if you do not visit www.adobe.com for their free Reader. If you have problems viewing the files or they seem weird, you may also need to upgrade to the most recent version of the Reader (also free).
Thanks you, Dave Card, for the 2004 Mousefest Mega-Mouse Meet Floorplan.

I'll be at as many MouseFest events as I can work into my schedule. I am looking forward to the MegaMouseMeet as well as the events that are held at the Animal Kingdom.

I had a great time at MouseFest 2003 and am looking forward to a repeat of the fun had at last year's event.

șoș Hi, John. And thank you for those pictures from last year's Mousefest. I'm always overplanning, but I'm going to try to make a lot of events, too. I really look forward to the Mega Mouse Meet this year, too. And Animal Kingdom is a highlight, too. And why don't you and James start a Who Wants to be a Millionaire meet? I think that would be a great meet.

șoș Hi, Alisa. And thank you again for inviting me to the December 9th MVMCP dinner at the Liberty Tavern. That will be a great night.

șoș Hi, Karen. I'll be at your JellyRolls DIS meet, too. I'm really looking forward to that.

șoș Hi, Krista. I sure hope to see you more than that Saturday and at MVMCP on Thursday.

șoș I hope that if you are in WDW, that you will try and make plans to be at the two hour MegaMousefest meet on Saturday, December 11th.

șoș It is free to everyone.

șoș You can come and go anytime during the two hours.

șoș You can listen and get to meet so many Disney loving people who's Disney web sites that you have visited before and Disney Book arthors that you have read.

șoș Jim Hill acturally has four different days that he is giving Magic Kingdom Tours.

șoș And Steve Barrett does a great job of giving a tour of each one of the parks each day. Have you read his book?

șoș Ray șoș

Hi, Ray. I kept trying to reach you after last year's meets, but never succeeded. This year I will be there from December 10-16, so I will miss the meet on the 9th at Liberty Tree Tavern. I hope there will be another one later in the week. I am waiting to see who else is going another night to the MVMCP, before I order my ticket. I will try to be at the meet in Animal Kingdom for noon. My plane doesn't come in until around 10:00 that day. I will go to the Mega Mouse Meet on the 11th. I will again be at the Boardwalk Villas. I really enjoyed all the meets last year. Maybe WISHes will have another meet this year, too.

Hi, Carl. That's great. I'll be at ASM until Monday, then I'll be at VWL for my last three nights. I plan on relaxing my last three nights and enjoying my first ever stay at VWL studio. I'm sure that there will be more people going to MVMCP later when you are there.

Hi AKJQ10, I'll sign up for your Monday meet. Thank you for your link. I'll be moving into the VWL that afternoon.

Ray

I've added the Recreation Arts Disney Parks list of meets and some others.

Towncrier, SideshowBob, and Jaypd, some people have been asking about another DATW Meet again. I don't see anyone that has one planned, yet.

And James and John, I don't see anyone organizing a Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Meet this year either.

HINT...HINT..

I have posted elsewhere that I am hesitant to commit to an official Drink Around The World event. After last year's run in with security, I'm not so certain that I want to be the one walking around the World Showcase with a big lime green DATW flag. I'm not ruling it out, but I haven't gotten my schedule together enough to know if I want to sponsor the event this year.

Hi, John. I almost forgot about the security people. I completely understand. I guess they didn't understand that we were all doing it for a good time and meet and greet.

And I understand about the schedule thing. Look at all the things going on everynight.

I look forward to seeing you again.

Ray, what an incredible list! Could not be easy to keep that updated! Thank you!

A question: I could not figure out how to sign up for several on the list. Where would I find the info without a link?

I'm new to mousefest!

Thanks ever so much!
