Room 2114?

Hi all!

Has anyone had this room? I noticed it is very close to elevators and wondering if it is very noisy?

We have the choice of this room or room 2500 (way forward). What would you choose?

Thanks for the help

I have heard the front of the ship gets more motion.

We chose the middle to hopefully tone it down.

there are several posts on this stating that mid ship is better.

where is the other room??

2500 is the very front, and :
I would probably avoid it

We stayed in 2114 on the June 12th Magic and it was very quiet! We loved the location and close proximity to the elevator. We had a little rattle the first night, but it was just a panel in the ceiling that dh adjusted. We have this stateroom booked again on the Aug. 20th CA to FL Panama DCL.

You will love it, not to worry! I wrote Dave on this board prior about why it was a noisy room, and he did not recall why. It was a great room, enjoy!!!

We will stick with room 2114 instead of 2500! I feel much better now

Smile Is 2114 a good stateroom or not???

We went on a Disney cruise last year and just loved it! We've booked room 2114 for our next cruise and I'm dying to know if it is a good choice? Is it quiet? It's kinda close to the elevators and under the Promenade Lounge, but I've read many reviews that say it's a good room, but I want to make sure. Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

Great choice IMHO. We were in 2614 directly on the other side of the ship for our first cruise and loved the location. Quiet and close to the elevators. Our last cruise we were in 5000 and hated being that far forward. We are going back "home" to 2614 for our next cruise.

We were next door in 2118 which would have similar noise from the elevators. There was some, but nothing that kept us awake. The location was the best. Read reviews for the adjacent rooms to get more info.

Thank you to both of you!!! Like everyone, I want our vacation to be wonderful, and a noisy room would drive me crazy (well, noisier than my 2 kiddies make it! And thanks for the suggestion of looking up adjacent rooms; I hadn't thought of that!

We just returned from room 2114 in May. We loved the room. It was so convenient and vey quiet. The only thing we noticed was on days we were in port, we could hear them underneath us putting everything away as the ship was leaving the dock. My 2 year old daughter was still able to sleep through that. We would definitely stay here again.

Did you notice any noise from the kitchen above? Some people mentioned hearing things around 3 am (like carts being pushed around or something). And around what time do they pull away from port? I'm thinking it was like 11pm or something? And thank you

We never heard anything from below or above. We all slept fine. The 3 yr old tossing in the bed was louder than anything. You could always bring one of those white noise makers to be safe. But the only real noise we heard were people by the elevator and kids running down the halls, but neither late at night or early morning. My wife even took a nap during the day and was able to sleep and she is a very light sleeper.

We never noticed any noise from above. I thought it was a great room. They usually pull away from port around 6pm or so. The little amount of noise was never a problem.
