who do you transfer to for 10% off?

I saw a few posts about transferring reservations for 10% off. The only discount I knew about was $200 from DU. Since my cruise is $9500, I'd sure love to save 10%.

Also, what is the rebooking onboard discount? I can't remember what that saves you- we'll be on the 5/27 cruise and I am wondering if they can wiggle my reservation while I'm online to get the onboard rebooking deal.

You usually get a $200 onboard credit if you book another cruise while you are still onboard.

Yes, Costco travel. We love 'em!! We received the 10% off the FL to CA repositioning cruise.

Can I still save 10% if I transfer my ressie from DCL to Costco? $523 dollars off beats the $200 rebate from Dreams.

Thanks,

Renee'

Yes it is. Like Sam's Club or BJ's Club.

How would I go about joining Costco and then transfering my DCL booked reservation for the 10 percent savings?

Go to either a Costco Club in your area and join or click here: http://www.costco.com/Product.asp?ca...4&log=&navtop=

Can you transfer your non-DCL booked cruise to Costco - say from dreams or another travel agent & get 10% off?

Not sure. I'm waiting for Costco Travel to open so I can call and ask. I think I read somewhere that transferring from TA to TA is harder than from DCL to TA, though. I'll post what I find out.

I believe that most TAs dont accept transfers from other TAs, its a courtesy thing between them. Kinda like not stealing each others business .There may be exceptions to this though.

I just transferred my ressie for the 14 day from DCL to Costco and saved $422. That is about an 8.5% discount. The person I talked to at Costco said they don't have a set percentage for discounts, and it is only on the base rate of the cruise before taxes, etc.

Thanks to everyone that posted about Costco Travel.

Yippee, that makes me so happy.
