Hi - I feel brave enough now to put my info down. My name is Wendy (Lizzy Lemon is what my late mum called me, actually prefer it to my real name) I've got a wonderful family hubby and 2 boys who we had to wait a long time to come along. We've adopted next door's cat 'Lucy' and live in the smelly town of Burton on Trent. Smells vary between the breweries and marmite. I have the thankless task of cleaning in the local hospital (it's not the cleaners responsible for MRSA you should see what the doctors and nurses do!) I love this board it feels like you have loads of friends to turn to which is brill for me as we hardly mix with anyone else. Oh don't I sound sad. Still got WDW to look forward to next year.

Hi - my name is Loraine, I am 45 (gasp) and live with my DH Ian (45) and my 2 kids, DS Calum (13) and DD Laura (11). We live in Liverpool, which is where I have lived all my life but my hubby was born in East Kilbride, Glasgow and is still proud to be a Scot (and has still got a wee bit of a twang).
I have only joined the DIS in the last few days and am still finding it all a bit new, but everyone seems so friendly.
I love all things Disney and can't get enough of reading just about everything I can on the subject. I have spent ages lately reading the reports of Delswife on their various Disney holidays and they really made my day. If you haven't read these yet then you should, they are very funny.
We have been to WDW once before in March 2004, when we stayed in a villa at Windsor Palms resort. It was brill. We are going again, 20 April - 4 May and will be staying on site this time, at the POFQ. I am beginning to stress already because I am one of those people who hates to pack, I feel obliged to make lots of lists of things to take, things to buy, things to remember to do before we go, etc, etc. Never mind - it will all be worth it.

Hi everyone
My name is Sharon (33) married to John (34) son Jason (14 soon). Just joined so just finding my feet! We live in Cumbria and have been married for 15 yrs.

We are going to Orlando staying on Int Drive in June 06, have been before in sept 2000 so hoping to see loads of new things. Looking forward to DC the most (prob cry am so emotional with things like that!) and the shopping . Jason is a huge basketball fan so he is looking forward to the NBA store in City Walk!! Dont think there are any basketball games on in June though that would have made his hol to go and see a 'proper' game!!

Would be interested to know if anyone else is going in June and if people have been in June before what they thought of the weather, humidity etc.

Hi Sharon and welcome to the Dis

Please feel free to join in on any thread and post any questions that may help you with your holiday over on the Trip Planning board, we are a very friendly bunch and its lovely to have you join us. If you would like to add your actual holiday dates and where you are staying on the Holiday Chart thread, I will add you to the list, you can also see who will be travelling at the same time as you on there.

My first holiday to WDW was in June 2000 and the weather was fantastic, it was hot and humid but not quite as bad as in July/August. There was the occasional shower in the afternoon but nothing to worry about.

Welcome and Happy Planning

Hi there Sharon, it's great to meet you, if you are looking for other people heading to Orlando in June, just have a look in our holiday list (you can add your own dates too). If you would like to know about the weather in June, then just start a thread in our Trip Planning forum and people will be able to help you. Please feel free to join in with any of our threads and you can add your birthday to our list too

Have fun

Mandy

Hi, my name is Julia (29), Husband Mark (31), daughter Lucy (nearly 7) and son Alfie (terrible 2's). We live in plymouth Devon.

We are going to florida Jan 2007 (springhill suites) , i went in 1992 with my parents, i have been with family in 2000 (stayed in a villa), 2002 (villa) and 2004 (The Amerisuites), got caught in one of the hurricanes (Jeanne) last time so chose different time of year to go, just hope the weather will still be warm. We are going with another family next year they have never been and have left all the booking and planning to me so i hope i get it all right!

Even though we have been a few times there is still loads we haven't done and things we haven't seen. But i'm loving all the planning, normally go with the flow but going to be a bit more organised next time.
