Any ideas for a different pot luck dish, other than the usual potato salad, or mac salad. Anything would be appreciated(as long as they are easy and quick)
Thanks. |

People OFTEN go back for a plate of just THIS salad. It doubles and triples very easily. I usually make a triple batch in the huge Tupperware bowl. Keeps 'em happy.
Oriental Salad Ingredients: 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c oil 1/3 c. vinegar 1 flavor packet from beef-flavored Ramen noodles 1 lb. bag of shredded cole slaw mix 1 pkg. (2 oz) slivered almonds, toasted 1/2 c. salted sunflower seeds (without shells) 1 pkg. Ramen noodles, uncooked and broken into small pieces. Directions: PREPARE IN ADVANCE: Mix the first 4 ingredients in a covered container. Shake the container often over several hours to dissolvbe and distribute the sugar. JUST BEFORE SERVING: In a large bowl, toss the 4 "dry" ingredients with the dressing. ENJOY!!!!!!
