Just read on another thread that the unlimited boat access plan is no longer offered at WL, can anyone verify this?

Word about upgrades.
During our trip in August 2003, I asked about upgrading to Concierge. We had a standard room booked and the price we were quoted to upgrade was $70. So the amount it will cost you to upgrade to Concierge I believe depends on the room type you have booked orginally. I was hoping the price would be $40-50 a night more, as I had read about on the board.
$70 was too steep for me.
We were pleasantly surprised though when we got to our room and found that we were given a free upgrade from standard to courtyard view!

Thanks Betsy, Last year when I looked into this, the 5 people did not have to be in the same room. Just someone booked it and gave the names of the other 4 people. I wonder if they even have to be at the same resort. We are traveling with some friends and they have 7 people (5 kids) so they are staying at ASSp. This way we could split the cost.

Question Strange...

Okay, I just booked WL for 7/31 to 8/7 and was told something strange. I asked for a non-smoking room and the CM told me that all the rooms were non-smoking. I had not heard this and did make her note it on the reservation. Anyone else hear this recently?

We were given a free upgrade from a Woodsview to a Pool view, which was cool imo, I asked about how much and I got the response that well we have available rooms so there will be no charge. I guess it pays sometimes to go during the offseason.

This is one of the questions I plan on finding out in a few weeks when I go to WDW. Also will verify the smoking rooms and information about king size beds. I have a list so if anyone has a question we Vets aren't 100% about we can get the 411 on it.

This rumor started after your stay....so I'll double check.
I just pulled out my "Wilderness Adventures" sheet from Feb 2004...it says "Family Plan - Length of Stay ( Weekly rate for use of Equipment ) $239.00 + tax ( up to 5 guests )
That is a price increase from my September trip

The best way is to check on availability at check-in they maybe able to tell you then. If they can't they will put your name on a list to be called if available.

Everyone have a magical day.

Just popping in to say Hi!

So, HI!

Also, someone was asking for pool and room info in a seperate thread. With us not talking as much in here, the thread doesn't stay sticky on the first page so people don't know how to find us.

How about us VETS help her out?

Regarding the boat and bike plan:

FWIW, Marilyn at the Iitinerary Planning Office for WL said she called over to WL Concierge and they told her the plan was discontinued a short time ago.
