Wyndham Bonnet Creek - who do you book through?

So we're now leaning towards staying here for our upcoming trip. A friend gave me a contact to get a good rate from, but I'm wondering who else everyone else is using? Do they all generally quote the same price? Is it worth it to shop around? Has anyone booked off of ebay?

Also, is there a big price difference between the 1 and 2 bedroom units?

My experience...

I use SkyAuction. Last trip I did an "Auction", with bid win and fees paid $320 for a 1 bedroom for one week. We had a great unit with balcony overlooking the lake. Loved the space, the kitchen, the washer/dryer and the complex amenities. The experience went without a hitch. Upcoming trip we went with "Buy It Now" and we have a 2 Bedroom unit we paid $600 for one week. Both trips are mid-December.

NOTE: SkyAuction is great but always scroll down and read all the information. It will give you all the dates they have open and if there are upcharges for special dates or increase in bedrooms. There are fees/taxes and it will vary by type of transaction you are looking at - so add it all up! These are to be paid for immediately and are non-refundable so make sure this trip is set in place.

I generally use ebay. I like picking my dates from the large selection of offerings on ebay as opposed to trying to book some exact dates. Of course, I'm not flying to Disney and I don't plan my trips a year ahead of time, so what works for me may not work for you.

1BRs are usually a bit cheaper, but you can find many, many more reservations for 2 Bedrooms because there are far more of the 2BR units at the resort.

In 3 weeks we'll be at Bonnet Creek for the second time, and Vacation Strategy gave the cheapest quote both times. This time we have 5 nights in a 1BR Deluxe for $410. We booked in March, so I'm sure timing affects the prices.

Great question. I'm waiting on some more quotes but it seems that the cheapest prices I have found are on ebay.

I was checking out this site because the ebay one I was watching isn't available any more. Just FYI, read all of the fine print. There is a $299 tax/surcharge on each rental. At least that's what it said on the one I was looking at.

Also, Vacation Strategies has been the cheapest quote from the three companies I've checked.

I'm using a guy on VRBO that was way cheaper than the other listings. I'm paying $699 for a 2 bedroom for 9 nights in September.

Thanks for mentioning this. I found a super cheap one on VRBO. Sadly, they weren't available for my dates when I called to double check. I finally broke down today and bought on ebay today. I'm pretty late booking so I got 7 nights in a 2 bedroom for $749. I can't wait to stay here!! I watched a walk through on ebay today and it looks great

I booked a last minute trip really cheap on eBay. A 2 bedroom deluxe for 7 nights at $499. The eBay seller is "TimeShareMall", with a company name of "5 Star Resort Vacations". They have a lot of positive feedback on eBay. They promptly emailed our confirmation document, including a PDF of the confirmation from Wyndham for a 3 bedroom unit. We leave for WDW on Sunday and are hoping that everything works out!
