Can you tell me if room 5032 that was mentioned is a room with king bed? Also, what is the average low end when they had AP discounts in January in the past?

Wink Just stopping by...

To wish you a warm welcome to your new DIGS!

Hi, Kimmar! Great Pics on here, (makes me long to return to the WL...). Speaking of DUCKEES....we have five new babies. They are about 6 weeks old now, and I have some pics posted about 20 pages back on our thread. We LOVE babies!

Take care, Sweet girl. I've already made my plane ressies for our return next summer. Now, it's FILL-IN-THE-BLANKS time! Fun, Fun, Fun...planning is ALWAYS the bomb.

TTFN...Always, DF99

Wow, it feels like "HOME" here! Too bad Fred can't figure out a way to pipe in some music from WL everytime we hop on this thread!

Glad to be part of this great "Family"!

Ahoy Mates, the Captain had a heck of a time finding part 3 of the great Wilderness Lodge thread..... then I realized I was following the instructions for finding the memory box Only Kidding.... All of you guys have made the planning of our first Disney trip so much fun. After our 6 nights at the lodge (nov.2-8) I hope I can return the favor to some others.
I have requested otter pond view, but was wondering if there is connecting rooms and bunkbeds around room 5032? Thanks.

Wow....I was busy for one night watching the Yankees lose and the new thread has started and is already on page three.

Thanks to everyone for posting such grea info.

Ditto to what HarborWhaler posted. Having all of you relay your tales of the WL has made planning my families trip a whole lot easier and fun.

The Wilderness Lodge Memory Box of Mystery!!

For those that don't already know, I thought I would get this into the first few pages of the new thread.

I left a Wilderness Lodge Memories Box somewhere on the property. See, I wanted to have a place where all us DIS'rs could go to sign our names and list our stay dates (arrive and depart) plus room numbers, WRITE DOWN WHERE YOU ARE FROM too, leave a pin or small trinket, take a pin or small trinket, photographs, etc.

Feel free to put a picture of you and yours in but make sure you print name and info on it so we know who you are. Put all pictures somewhere where light won't shine directly on them for obvious reasons. How about something from the local area you are from so we have an international collection of goodies?

For more info, see the box's own thread at:

Room 5032

To TIG-GIRL and the others asking about room 5032:

It's sure is fun to be able to give some answers finally instead of just asking all the questions.

Room 5032 is not a lobby view. Refer to Florida Cat's wonderful description a page back. As you are leaving the lobby and heading down the ramp past Roaring Forks you come to the elavator where the 2 buildings in the North wing meet. 5032 is the room directly to the left as you exit the elevator. It has 2 double beds. I don't know if there are bunks or kings anywhere near. It also does not adjoin with another room in case anyone was wondering.

It does however have an absolutely wonderful view of the castle and the otter pond. I am sure they keep the pine trees trimmed to keep that view open. We literally could watch the fireworks from bed. Look for my pix of the balcony view on the picture sight that Fred set up. I e-mailed them to him last night.

Hope that helps.

Now will someone please tell me how I can attach a picture from my trip on my siggy? Pleeeaaassse.

Kimmar,
Here is a start to WL VET. (Notice new picture below)
We have stayed 8 times at the WL and bought into VWL. I even had my first trip to WL printed in the 2001 PassPorter Guide Book.

Any closer?
