It is on 192 and he will be about 3 miles fronm WL at that point.

Starz723

Can't help on the car or cost of a cab, but DTD and AK are the longest rides from WL. I am sure there are some VETS have used a cab in the past.

For the most part the buses are very good and we had some very good experiences with them and the drivers. The problem is there is no resort to resort routes. You will have to go to AK and then to AKL.

Starz723 plus you didn't say but if your PS for Boma is dinner what time? AK closes early and then that might not be an option to even go to AK then AKL..You might have to go to DTD and then get the bus to AKL. Then back to DTD after dinner then Bus to WL.

I am a poor Cubbies fan that just had to come here and cry (FLoridaCat will understand)

I need a group hug

I guess I will have to route for the Red Sox so at least one team has their curse broken this year!

I think I need a dip in the WL pool to make me feel better

As for the rental car question-we always rent a car, we do like the convenience of going where we want when we want.
The only pain is when it comes to the theme park parking lots. Unless you get a spot up front (with the exception of MK) you have to take a tram and/or monorail. We found it much more convenient to take the boat to MK. You cut out the monorail and tram hassle.

FloridaCat Thanks for the infor about visit guest. I talked with my friend and decided that he is going to leave the car with us and we will pick him up at his hotel. So for the first two days, we will have a car.

Wow! Look at my counter go! It started at 139 days, now look at it!

We were 5026. Although it was September and not so busy as to have much hall traffic. What got to me was the ice maker which is located right next to the elevator. It was broken but had no sign on it to tell you that, and you could hear the constant grinding every time someone when to get ice.

Starz723 - I say go for the car. We always get one, might not use it but I like the convenience of being able to use it if I need it.

Noise

Maybe we're just good sleepers, but being near the elevator and icemaker we were never really bothered by the noise.

Its been a week since i have been home. I spent a few days catching up on some house stuff to find a new thread exists. Had to come though because thinking about doing another trip to the WL during the winter. DD would love to be their for her birthday. Dh said maybe we could. How many trips do you need to become a WL vet?

Bell of the Ball

Kimmar (the keeper of the thread) posted this earlier for WL vet status information:

(oh yes, some of you are requesting the WL VET tag. Please refer to page 140 [center] to find out HOW you can qualify....:smile

Now page 140 refers to the "old" thread of WL FAQ. Maybe Florida Cat or Majestic can help with a direct link to that thread, but if not, it shouldn't be to hard to find.

The WL vet status is only given out by the TAG FAIRY....you must believe, in the TAG FAIRY.
Fairy
1) A tiny imaginary being in human form, depicted as clever, mischievous and possessing MAGICAL POWERS.

2)A imaginary supernatural being or spirit, supposed to assume a human form (usually diminutive) either male or female (here we all know she a female and very beeeeautiful) and may meddle for GOOD or EVIL in the affairs of mankind.

you must clap and clap
You must also spread PIXIE DUST

YOU MUST ALSO LOVE (or for the guys like) HUGH JACKMAN: ;

I have a question:

If the Lobby of WL is considered the 2nd floor, and I requested the 5th floor, am I really getting the 6th floor, which means the balcony is partial? So then should I request the 4th floor. I have a reserved woods view. Or am I totally confused

whos on first, whats on second, LOL

I know you WL vets have the answer
