Did anyone watch the finale of The Family? (spoilers) - The DIS Discussion Forums

I was kind of shocked at how it all ended. I had wanted Mike to win all along, and I thought for sure that Anthony would keep it all for himself. Who knew he would turn out to be a decent human being after all?

I only watched this show occasionally but I really wanted Mike to win. Too bad Anthony decided to share because that would have sent a lot family members over the edge!!! Almost all of them grated my last nerve!

I was sooo mad at this finale. First of all it was NOT Fair that the person brought back in the game had the same advantage...they had already lost! Mike should have gotten some advantage because of that. Then, to bring it all down to a guessing game? So, not fair. If its a competition, then compete, not have them guess what box it was in! Mike should have won and kept the money from those annoying horrible people!

On the other hand though, if he had watched Anthony more closely he would have guessed it was in the black box. Both DH and I noticed his initial reaction, then him trying to act and do the same for the next two boxes. Also, Mike knows Anthony, why the heck would he trust him!

He should have asked the question, Which box is it NOT in. Because Anthony wouldn't have said the one it was in, then all Mike would have had to do is select the other 2 and would have won. So annoying.

I was disappointed that Anthony won. And really, how could he NOT share the money? That family would have lynched him on the spot!
I really couldn't take most of the people on the show. Mostly I would just watch the last 10 minutes or so each week to see who was "denied". What really surprised me was how the house staff spoke so nicely of the family in the end. During the show, the creative editing made it seem like the staff despised the family! Only the maid said she doesn't ever need to see them again! Love that woman!
I think it's safe to say that we won't see a "Family 2".

I stopped watching it because this family was so annoying and pretty classless.
Uncle Mike and Aunt Donna cant be thrilled that Anthony split the money. They strike me as greedy- especially Donna.
Cousin Mike really seemed like he was the only decent one- and I think he is distantly related.
