Father we pray for all our service members deployed overseas. We pray for those who are in harms way and those who support them in outlining countries.
We ask your hand be upon them all as they serve the country they love. We ask your hand on the families at home. It takes us all as a team to get through a deployment and we thank you for being the team leader.
We pray your blessing on us all.
Amen

Today is my sister's 40th birthday and my BIL called her this morning to tell her that he is now in Iraq. (He left last Monday for training then had to catch a military transport overseas and just landed in Iraq today for the next 4-5 months.)

Please keep him and all of our military members and their families in your prayers.

My husband is deployed with the Air Force until August. Our family prays daily not just for his safety, but for all military members and their families back home!

Prayers needed for Daughter In Law

DS and DDIL are both in the Air Force. DS just left for 6 months in Iraq last week. They have 2 wonderful kids. A 2yr old boy and 4 week old baby girl. While DDIL was pregnant this last time she had a lot of sinus trouble and infections. She was finally seen by the specialist and has been diagnosed with a tumor in her sinuses. She is going for a biopsy on Thurs. morning. They are in Texas and we and her parents all are on the east coast. Please pray for her. She has so many burdens right now. Thanks.

My SonIL Josh Hutchison just came home from Ft. Sill, OK for a couple of days to spend with my daughter. He is flying out this afternoon back to Ft. Sill and then will be heading to Iraq by next weekend. He drives huge tow trucks and works on the diesel trucks, so we are hoping that he will be a little safer, but this would still put him in convoys from time to time. Keeping my daughter busy for a year will be a task. We've have been putting together a list of his favorite things that he would like to see from time to time...one of them being softer toilet paper He calls the army tp "John Wayne" paper! We plan to have a calendar made for him that will have pics of their trip to WDW and their wedding from last May, and some family photos. They weren't able to be together on their 1st ann'y. She's learning what it is to be a military wife

This is a prayer we say every night, not just when "poppy" is deployed (he just did until Feb. '10)
Lord hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

May God bless all those who are away and the families at home who pray and wait.

May I ask for your positive thoughts and prayers please, for our son, a US Army Major, 82nd Airborne, deployed to Afghanistan. Our dear DIL, their children, and all our family could also use your prayers to be granted extra faith, strength, and courage. Thankfully all our family was able travel and visit him, DIL and our sweet grands before he deployed.

Godspeed our soldier, all our brave military and thanks to their families for their many sacrifices. May their guardian angels protect their every step and they return safe and sound. God Bless America, land of the free and home of the brave.

With many heartfelt thanks from 4nana and family.

Will keep your dear son in our prayers, Sandee.

Let us know if he needs any care packages for himself or his soldiers!

Hi, I'm another wife asking for support! dh john was reservist for five years who got pulled back to active this summer, he spent three months in TX, has nine more in SC, then off he goes to Afghan.

phew. it is not easy coming back to the land of the military wife after all this time! We have a bit of adjustment to do. dd was 2 last time he deployed so she doesn't remember it. Now, it's me and the kids, my mom is gone, my dad moved away, and we live within reporting distance to the base, but not close enough to commute - so I feel a bit alone, ok, a lot alone!

I'm enjoying planning our trip to keep me occupied, it falls into the leave period between assignments and will be a great r&r for all of us.
