Bring Boarwalk Bakery cake to Yak & Yeti?

Hello! So we are celebrating getting married on our wedding day by having a lunch at Yak & Yeti. I see on all the great Disney cake sites that they offer either all chocolate or all vanilla (which wouldn't be the end of the world) but I was wondering if I picked up a customized cake at Boardwalk Bakery the previous evening, would they serve it at Yak and Yeti for us?

The reason we chose Yak and Yeti is that we are having a small 9am wedding and then doing an AK day.

Could we get a Mickey Mouse Cake there with advance notice?

Any help is much appreciated!

There is a cake thread somewhere on this forum. I'd check there. If you order a custom cake thru Disney, I think you can arrange for it to be delivered to any Disney restaurant. The folks on the cake thread would know.

You might try contacting Yak & Yeti to find out if they can serve outside food and if there are any plating fees associated with that. Yak & Yeti is a Landry restaurant, so they may operate differently than Disney-owned/operated venues.

Any suggestions on Disney owned and operated restaurants in Animal Kingdom? My fiance and I both like a lot of different foods but our guests aren't quite as adventurous. Also it would be for lunch so it may be a bit limited in that sense too I suppose?

Tusker House is Disney owned and is a buffet, so is probably perfect for picky eaters since there is a good selection of foods to choose from. Lunch is a character meal.

Or you could hop a bus to AKL for lunch at Sana'a. It is Indian/African themed but their lunch menu has some plainer, more um, Americanized items.

That actually sounds perfect! I love the fun atmosphere and the character aspect! Thank you so much for the suggestion!

Plus it sounds like it will make the cake coordination easier!
