Any way to walk to busses in front of parks from boardwalk hotels woth no ticket?

I don't know if I'm making sense!! Let me tell you what I'm trying to do here- we are staying at YC and have an adr at ohana. I was wondering if I would be able to walk to the busses in front of DHS and take a bus straight to the poly... But that day we won't have park tickets. I guess the question is, is there a walkway from any of the boardwalk hotels that you can use to just get to the busses? Or would it be quicker to just take a bus to the MK and take the monorail? Sorry for the confusion!!!

Being that you're so close to DHS I would recommend taking the bus to be much faster. If you plan on going to DtD prior to your AD r that would be another option as we'll considering you have no tickets. Hope this helps

I take the bus to the MK and then use the monorail to the Poly. Coming back to the YC I use a cab ($20 - includes tip). You can also take the walkway over to DHS and pick the bus up there if you want the exercise.

Yes there is a walkway between swan dolphin and the boardwalk villa to DHS it takes about 10-15 minutes

It is likely quicker to take a but to MK and hop a boat or monorail to poly though.

There is no path to take you to the front of EP, but you can get a bus from the entrance of DHS.

You have a few options!

1) Take the bus from YC to MK. Take the boat or monorail to Poly. (We did this from BWI to CR and it took about 90 minutes)

2) Walk or take the boat to DHS. Take the bus to Poly.

3) Take a cab. It will be about $20 each way. You could also take a cab there and then use one of the above options to get back or vice versa.

If you want to stick to Disney transportation, I would go with option 2. From resort to resort, cabs are always the quickest!

It is also likely the bus will be standing room only since it could have stopped at up to 4 other hotels. I think OP has a good idea.

YC only shares a bus with the BC. BWV, Swan and Dolphin share buses to the theme parks.

The only time the 5 resorts share a bus is to downtown disney.

OP, we stay at BWV and BCV very frequently. When we need to get to the Poly or GF to eat, we always take a bus to the MK, and then take the small boat to the Poly/GF.

Plan on over an hour for your trip.

There is a very nice walkway from the YC to DHS. It will take you approximately 15 minutes to walk there. You can also take the Friendship boat to DHS to catch the bus to the Polynesian.

The bus to MK from the YC only shares with the BC, and the YC is the first stop.

Quickest way on Disney Transportation.
1. Walk to DHS.
2. Take bus to Poly.

Another way.
1. Walk to DHS.
2. Take bus to MK.
3. Boat or Monorail to Poly.
This will take longer but is a little more scenic.
Monorail could be a problem if the changes are still going on.

That said, taxis are always faster from resort to resort but at a price.

If your ADR is for an early breakfast then you may not be able to use Disney Transportation due to operating hours.

Plan ahead time wise and enjoy the trip.

For me, I would do YC to MK, boat or monorail to Poly. (I love riding the boat.) My second choice would be YC to DHS, DHS to Poly.

6 of one, half dozen of the other. The walk to DHS from YC is about 15-18 mins. Or you can take the boat. A little longer due to possible wait times. Then hop on the bus to the Polynesian. Figure on about an hour or so....maybe 75 mins. Or, take the bus from YC ro MK, and then the monorail over to the Polynesian. Or you could take the large ferry and transfer to the monorail, or take the small boat. That will stop at the GF first, then it goes to the Polynesian.
Depends on how much time you want to spend. Quickest is probably heading to DHS and busing to Polynesian.
