Magical express to resort

My flight lands at 12pm.. What time should I expect to be at POFQ? It's on Tuesday December 16.

Including time you may have to wait to board a bus at the airport, between 1:30 and 2:30. Could be earlier, if major stuff happens could be later.

It's really hard to estimate an arrival time, but 90 minutes (2p) is a good figure to go with. You could get on DME and leave the airport minutes later, or you could board and be waiting 20-30 minutes because you were one of the first. Routes can also change, so while POFQ might be drop off #1 one week, it could be drop off #4 the next.

On average allow 60 to 90 minutes from arrival time at MCO. If you're lucky it'll be closer to 60 - 70 minutes, but it's better to allow 90 minutes. Typically it's about 70 minutes, but it depends on how long it takes to deplane, are you collecting your luggage, how long is the wait before the bus leaves and whether your resort is the first or last to be dropped off.

Speaking of Magical Express (not to hijack the thread) but does GF share a route with the other monorail deluxes? We land at 1045am on Sept 9th and was hoping to be at the resort by noon-ish.

There are no 100% set routes to it's difficult to say exactly. The GF frequently shares service with the Poly and WL, and generally will be the second stop.

We recently arrived on August 1st and stayed at the Poly. There were five resorts on our bus and the GF was the last stop. We went to Fort Wilderness first, followed by WL, then Contemporary, then Poly and lastly the GF. Pick up must have been similar because when we were picked up at the Poly there were others on the bus that had already been picked up and after the Poly we went to the GF.

We landed at 9:30am. With a stay at contemporary. We stopped at wilderness lodge, grand floridian, poly and somewhere else before we got to contemporary. We just missed an ME bus. It took us almost noon by the time we got to the resort.

I thought 90 minutes too so I was not prepared for over 2 hours

Like pp's already said, it depends if you're first on the bus or closer to last. The driver will wait for other guests to arrive. All 5 times I have stayed at POR/POFQ our DME bus also dropped off at OKW and SSR.. so 4 stops total. I know its not a set schedule but thats how its been everytime for us in the same order each time.. OKW, SSR, POFQ and POR. Our flight always arrives at MCO at 9:30am. We have gotten to our resort by 11am the latest, so. I guess we!ve been lucky with time.

Same thing happened to me last fall staying at BLT. Landed at 5:15. I think it was close to 2 1/2 hours because we sat on the bus close to a half hour before leaving MCO.

I wasn't prepared either because for previous stays at POFQ, POR, POP and KV, we were easily there between 70 and 90 minutes.

Somehow it always seems to take right about 90 minutes for me, regardless of where I'm going or how long the line is/how long the bus sits.

Agreed with the PP, on both my trips to POFQ the bus has stopped at OKW and SSR first. POR was not on our route in 2013 but I think it was this year. And I know POR was the first stop before heading to the Epcot resorts when I stayed at BC in 2012.

Allow time for your walking speed, restroom and shopping breaks and a stop at baggage claim if you are not using those yellow tags for your checked luggage. Going direct from your gate to the loading area should not take more than 10 minutes.

Last weekend we arrived at the DME boarding area before 1:30pm. We waited for about 15 min. The driver stated that from MCO to WDW is a 45 min ride. We stopped at Poly, GF, then WL. They were going on to CR. We arrived at WL at 2:30.

So 90 min. I had allowed myself 2 1/2 from the time the plane landed because I had slow and potentially hungry little ones.

The three times that we stayed at the WL the ME bus always stopped at the Poly first, the GF second, and the WL third.
