Barcelona hotel suggestions for 3?

Hello! Myself and 2 friends are embarking on the Transatlantic Sept 6, and we will be getting to Barcelona around 10 pm on the 5th. I am having a hard time finding a room for 3 people. The Renaissance has rooms available, but I can't justify spending $186 each for a room that we will be in for less than 12 hours.

Any suggestions for good hotels? We would like to be near Las Ramblas so we could walk around the next morning before we hop over to the port. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Minimum of two night stay is required for this hotel, unfortunately.

In addition, just to let Tink know, there is a cardio convention in Barcelona that week, thus room availability is very limited.

Last August we stayed at Hispanos 7 Suiza. We are a family of 4 and got a 2BR/2BA condo. It was very nice & clean. They have smaller condos for less. I think ours was around 200 euros per night and my parents was slightly less than that for 1 BR.
It's not near Las Ramblas but it's a short walk to Sagrada Familia.

Thank you so much! I was wondering why rooms were so hard to come by that week, and also why they were so expensive. Makes sense now! I will look Into these suggestions!

Hotel Continental has rooms for 3 and location cannot be beat.

It isn't cheap in price, but is a little in quality...

Really, the food is inedible (I am Not picky by any means), the rooms are run down and the furniture is rubbermaid

But, for 3 people I might stay there again only because of the location.

Actually, hotels in Poble Nou may be cheaper for 2 rooms, but you are a metro ride away from the center,

Very jealous that you are on the TA!!!

We stayed at the Tryp Apolo in a family room, which was lovely. It was convenient to walk all around Barcelona from the hotel and a short taxi ride in the morning for us and our luggage

I second Tyrp Apolo. We stayed in a family room and 2 kids had their own beds. It is very convenient to everything . We walked to las ramblas, Columbus monument, gothic quarter and to the magic fountains. I would definitely stay there again! Ask for a room away from the street, they stay up late in Barcelona!
