Yikes indeed, i hope for the op's sake that his room is honored but after reading most of those reviews I'd be a little concerned. When I first read this post a few weeks ago I contemplated going thru them to see if i could get a deal now I feel a lot better that I went through the disney world official site.

Fake Rates Not Honored By Hotels // and They Keep Your $$$”
Written on: 27/07/2014 by AliaWentworth350 (1 review written)

Hotels do not honor their rates. You assume that once you pay for you room that the room is yours because you get billed and get a confirmation. Then, like all the others, you get an email that your room couldn't be filled. They still have my money and wont respond to emails, chat board or answer the phones. THIS IS A BOGUS OPERATION! All they do is charge you for a room and then they call the hotel to try an strike a deal. Something that a 4 year old could do. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!… Read Full Review

I'm also concerned for OP's sake. I wonder if the OP was able to link their reservation onto MDE..

I would be very surprised if this rate is honoured. Hopefully, for the OP's sake, they at least get their money refunded.

I went through a 3rd party online site for a one night stay locally here for a business thing and got a fabulous rate on a 5 star and got called the day before that there was no room available. Fortunately, I got my money and was still able to find something else.

I would recommend to OP to contact Disney and confirm that they have the reservation. Hopefully they do!

My room is definitely linked thru My Disney Experience! I did my online check in. So it looks as thou everything is ok? I found that site from hotelscombined. I guess i didnt mention that before. I was concerned with the site being from Thailand....I booked the room knowing this, but i still took my chances an went with it anyway because I figured if it came from Hotelscombined, it should be fine.

Looks like everything is in order....so far! Fingers crossed. I'll keep you updated if anything goes wrong.

It doesn't sound like it's an actual reservation. The hotel takes the money and then tries to get that rate at the hotel. Disney won't bite that apple if it's not legit.

Yes, I wouldnt have found the deal if it werent for hotelscombined. I wouldnt have used the website randomly, but because it came from hotelscombined (which has been advertised quite a bit) i figure it must be legit?

As stated in my edited post, just wanted to update those who were curious. we checked into AoA today without any problems at all. We paid the rate as indicated, $155 for a cars suite. I highly recommend hotelscombined.com!
