Frozen (Elsa/Anna) meet and greet at THE PRINCESS HALL WDW

Hi guys!

I am finding it impossible to find any CURRENT info on the Frozen (Elsa/Anna) meet and greet at THE PRINCESS HALL WDW situation and am hoping some of you can help please!

-what was the approximate wait time for those of you who had to run there at park open
-any tips or strategies or suggestions beyond seeing them somewhere else?

Thank you very much!

1. Too hard to guess. Depending on where you are at park open, you could get very lucky with 15 minutes or less or you could much more likely end up with 60 minutes or more.

2. Go very, very early in the day or very, very, late. Or get a FP for them, which is difficult in and of itself.

Thank you very much! We will have 4 kids baby-6 with us that day so hard to run. Can my hubby RUN and the rest of us speed it there as fast as we can and meet him there or will they just let him in if he's the only one there?

Disney has been having CMs literally walk up Main Street holding a rope, to prevent guests from running to Anna and Elsa, so no, your husband can't run ahead. Plus, the line for Princess Fairytale Hall is enclosed and line jumping to join your party is frowned upon. Your best bet is to get to the MK early (like an hour before park time) to be at the front of the crowd if you can't get a FP for it.

Keeping checking for FP availability right up to the date. You might luck out and pick up someone's cancellation. Many people have been booking a FP for Anna&Elsa for each of their Magic Kingdom days, just in case something goes terribly wrong and they can't make one of them . . . but then they'll change the FPs for other experiences if the first meet works out.

You also might have better luck finding FPs if you're willing to split your party into smaller groups. You might even be able to find overlapping times for your groups.

Guests staying offsite can book FP+ reservations 30 days in advance once you link tickets for each member of your family on the My Disney Experience Website.

You gotta be original because if you're like someone else, what do they need you for?

Yep. But they aren't likely available. We could barely get A&E at 67 days out! Crazy!!! But, there is always a chance someone will cancel, cant hurt to check

I figure if the A&E craze keeps going. Soon we'll see MK open like DHS. Unannounced 15+ minutes early. That seems to be the only way they could control the stampede. For a while they played the CMs walk you back to TSM and RnRC.

Yes I figured slim odds and we don't get the 30 day window as we buy our tickets when we get down (in case something happens and the trip is cancelled we aren't out the money - I am just not in the income bracket where we can chance so much should something go wrong).

I will cross my fingers and toes but any tips for people just hoping to get there early, "run" (as fast as allowed at rope drop) to get a place in line with a not-4plus-hour-line? Any little bit helps.

Also, if anyone has been there recently and an update what it's like nowadays there (just how crazy) that would be good. We'll be there Aug 8-23 (well in Orlando anyhow).

THANKS!

I've heard many people booking multiple days. Some because they're worried they'll miss the first one or that something will go wrong.
Also some people don't know which parks they'll go to on what days so will book multiple days until they finalize their plans.

The later in August, the less crowded it will be. So, it might be best for you to try to see A&E at RD on the last non-weekend day of your trip.

Good luck!

When we were there two weeks ago we were at MK at rope drop and went straight to FL just to see if we could get in the standby line. When we arrived it was already a 90 minute wait. I assume this is from all of the diners for breakfast at CRT. So we waited until the very end of the night and my wife got in line around 11:40pm and waited about 30 minutes to see both A&E with our 5 yr old. Most of the days we were there the waith during the day would stretch to about 3 hours.

Ugh! I thought about doing an 8am breakfast, but then you spend a fortune to rush through your breakfast to get in line before RD. I just can't do that!

I can't remember if they allow Strollers in this line? But I would consider an afternoon time or the standby line. It seems that the worst waits are the first 2-3 hours of the day.

Do you have a touring plans account? You can log in and see the wait times and expected wait times for your trip. I find the in flight re-optimizing of my plan helpful too.
