AoA early check in ?

What are the chances of being able to get an actual room at AoA at 10am? (it would be one of the standard rooms. I wish we could just pay for an early check in or something to guarantee a room

We went a year ago April, stayed in a Little Mermaid room, and got checked in at 10:30 without any wait. That resort is HUGE!

Have a fun trip!

PP mentioned the resort was huge, but there are only a 2-3 bldgs with standard rooms; the rest of the resort bldgs are suites.

You can check in early, and if a room isn't ready, you can leave your luggage with Bell Services. Meanwhile you can go to the parks and get a text/email later with your room number. Your MagicBand will unlock the room door without a second trip to the front lobby. After the parks you can stop by Bell Services and get your bags, or call from your room and have them delivered (+tip). I'm not sure if Bell Services operates 24 hrs - so please ask them about their closing time, if any.

You can check in any time you want but you can't guarantee a ready room. Luck of the draw. Especially with a standard room, there aren't many of them. You can ask if they can get you a room that is ready if yours isn't, but no way to make that happen for sure.

We did a split stay between POR/AOA Lk suite. I put our check in time as 8 am and when we got there our room was ready. I loved the resort. We are staying in the standard room this trip for MNSSHP. I hope it is as great as the LK suite was. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
