Crystal Palace for dinner?

Have any of you eaten at the Crystal Palace for dinner? If so, was it recent? We have reservations for our next trip, but I keep seeing conflicting reviews about the food. Your thoughts?

we go every year and enjoy it ..

The beef was very tender and delicious and my favorite is the salmon.. My husband still has to have a helping of the mac and cheese that is on the kids lower tables..which is allowed for all..

we go with or without the grandkids and have taken our bil and sil there for her 60th birthday...it is a fun place to go to..
forgot to add ..we were there in May.

Went in May and had a fabulous time, I go every time I am at Disney! Had a great character interaction with Tigger and Eyeore. The food was very yummy nothing foreign but good meat potatoes and veggie dishes ( I hear the salmon is awesome but not a fish person).

Already booked in again for December trip

Our Ratings of Crystal Palace Lunch & Dinner: (*rev: 1/16/2014*)
. . . food price value: C
. . . food quality: C
. . . food quantity per serving: A
. . . food prep speed: A
. . . food selection: B
. . . seating quantity: B
. . . seating comfort: C
. . . eatery atmosphere: B
. . . eatery convenience: C
. . . staff friendliness: A
. . . staff attentiveness: B
. . . character interaction: B

NOTE: In most cases, one goes for the characters and suffers through the food. At
CP, the food is above average, with a wide variety. Although it is very overpriced, the
food is acceptable; the characters have great interaction. If you must do a character
meal, this is best choice for food - next to Tusker House and 1900 Park Fare. Since
it is a character meal, beware of a very noisy environment with kids running around
everywhere. Remember, one goes to such meals for the characters.

Thanks, everyone! We are most definitely going for the characters, but I'd heard people say the food was REALLY bad, and since it isn't cheap, I wanted to see if it was as terrible as some have said. I have a feeling people who are really into food wouldn't like it, but we aren't too picky
