Best restaurants to celebrate thanksgiving dinner and why...

This will be my first time spending thanksgiving at WDW. We have reservations at Trail's End since none of my "first picks" were available. Is this a good choice or are there other places that you absolutely loved that we should go to sans reservation? I'm assuming certain restaurants may have special thanksgiving menus?!

Very good choice. One year they even delivered our Thanks. dinner to our campsite it was very good. No fears for you on this selection.

The two restaurants we tried for this Thanksgiving were Liberty Tree Tavern in MK and 50's Prime Time in HS because both have traditional Thanksgiving meals. We got shut out of LTT at 180 days, but have since gotten a reservation.

I don't know if they still do it, but in 2009, we had Thanksgiving dinner at the Diamond Horseshoe Revue in MK. Same Thanksgiving menu as Liberty Tree, but we didn't need an ADR. We had to check in with the hostess throughout the day, but we were able to get a table.

We were there last year for Thanksgiving. We got a lovely takeout traditional meal from the Contempo cafe in the Contemporary. Later,we had dinner at Akershus, which was great, but they had no Thanksgiving option.
