Breakfast in or near Dolphin?

What are your suggestions for the best place to get breakfast (non-park) in or near the Dolphin? This is the first time I will be staying there. I am there for a conference so I am thinking that my time may be limited. Thanks for your suggestions!

Cape May at the Beach Club or Captains Grill at the Yacht Club.

At the Dolphin itself, Fresh (for a buffet) or Picabu (cafeteria style if you're in a hurry)

Cape May at the Beach Club is very good and it's a buffet so you can eat at relatively quickly if you need to.

our granddaughter and her husband (honeymoon) were just at the Swan and they had breakfast a few times at Picabu...and they enjoyed it ...

Another option I loved when staying at the swan was walking over to boardwalk bakery. I'd grab a muffin and a piece of fruit or something along those lines.

Picabu is pretty good too with a good amount of quick options

Another vote for Cape May at the BC. The atmosphere is nice and the buffet is great with a lot of variety.

Cape May Breakfast

For those that suggested Cape May, what are some of the offerings on their breakfast buffet?

I like some of the other suggestions as well, but I may pass on Kouzzina as I didn't see anything that appealed to me there.

Although I would love to have a nice muffin or something like that from the Boardwalk unfortunately I am watching more of what I eat lately so that is out as well.

For those that suggested Picabu, what are some of the must haves there? How good of a selection is there on their breakfast buffet?

We've enjoyed the breakfast at Fresh on several occasions.

Captain's Grille at the YC has a buffet and ala carte. We are going there in a few months just so I can have the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes.

Picabu is cafeteria style, but IMO nothing seems to have sat under heaters very long. It's open 24 hours, and you'll find many choices in there for different times of the day. Fresh puts on a very nice breakfast buffet.

Boardwalk bakery is so good. It's not expensive at all there. Fresh is ok. They have good food but strange hours. Picabu is good but pricey.

Inside Dolphin is restaurant Fresh. They offer discount to AAA members. Only place in Disney that I know of for fresh juice (i.e., carrot). Juices are also sold at coffee station in lobby of Swan. Juice included with buffet breakfast at Fresh; buffet is nothing too special (save the juice).

Personally, I also like Cape May Cafe because Goofy hosts breakfast. And the buffet is excellent.....smoked lox.....close to Dolphin, but far enough away to cause hesitation.

I would have previously recommend Kouzinna for breakfast, but since they are closing soon, I would be worried about a decline in quality since my last visit. However, depending on your arrival, Flying Fish will be offering an upscale-menu for breakfast.
