Need dinner ADR for Hollywood Studios day!

I need to figure out dinner for our Hollywood Studios day. I know nothing about what's nearby. I do want to see Fantasmic at 6:30, and we're on the dining plan. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

You can do the Fantasmic Dinner Package that includes premium seating for the show. Personally of the restaurants that participate I like Hollywood Brown Derby the best, but you'll get a good meal at any of them.

HBD menu looks amazing, but it's 2 TS, right? Trying to figure out if we can swing it.

We are big fans of 50's Prime Time, but they do not offer the Fantasmic package. We are having dinner, with the Fantasmic deal, at Mama Melrose in September.

We've eaten at all of the HS restaurants at one time or another. Most of them multiple times. Of the 3 restaurants on the F. dining pkg, we like HBD and MM very much. H&V not at all. We've also done the lunch instead of dinner at MM (on the F. pkg), and then grabbed a light CS meal later in the evening.

If you decide not to do the package, 50s PTC is another of our favourites.

Isn't it near DTD? Could you go there after the show?

Geographically, DHS isn't that far from DTD. The problem is getting there. I would definitely not recommend driving there, because of all the construction problems. And there is no direct bus so you'd have to go to the closest Epcot area resort and catch a bus from there, which is very time consuming. You COULD take a taxi from the park, however.

We like to do an early dinner at Sci-Fi on our DHS days. We usually eat around 4:30 ish so we can line up for Fantasmic in plenty of time. The food isn't gourmet, but it is good and the atmosphere is really, really neat.
