In Cartagena I arranged for a private tour through Dora (found her on trip advisor). She was wonderful and we really enjoyed the day and she was terrific with kids.

Puerto Vallarta we booked Las Calentas Hideway excursion and really enjoyed it. I will mention the boat ride there was the only time the whole trip I felt seasick and took meds for way back.

Cabo we booked dolphin swim and DS6 a the time loved it and still talks about it.

Have fun!

I've found lots of great ideas for everything but cartagena. Anyone with teen boys found something fun to do there. There are so few Disney excursions offered. I would really like to do something memorable. Anyone, please help.

It's not thru Disney but a highly rated activity per Trip Advisor & Cruise Critic is the Segway tour. That's what we were thinking of doing with our boys.

Cabo: We got off the ship and were looking to jet ski. We picked a random guy calling for customers (the company ended up being Aries Water Sports) who took us to the beach by a small boat. My husband and son (8) shared a jet ski and my daughter (6) and I shared one. We had a great time and then my son and husband ended up parasailing with them as well. We did this for a fraction of the price of a Disney organized port adventure, just needed cash. Teen boys might love doing that.

Puerto Vallarta: We did the Las Caletas Hideaway and loved it. My son did the zip line adventure and we just snorkeled and hung out on the beach.

Sorry we did not go to Cartagena on our cruise!

Loved the cruise...have a great time!!

For Cartagena --- I wonder if on Trip Adviser or Cruise Critic if you could find something about Pirates. There's a game called Cartagena that's "based" upon a Pirate Breakout in the late 1600's from Cartagena.

There's probably a good tour of the main fortress in the old city that could be interesting to the kids. We only had a "Stop and Snap" photo op there.
