Epcot's Candlelight Processional

As far as the Epcot's Candlelight Processional dinner package, which is the better time , 6:45 or 8:15 ?? Does it really matter, I assume it will be dark in December at 6:45, right ?? Thanks for any help...

It will be dark at 6:45. Once the park starts to get busy close to Christmas attending the 8:15 show can make it difficult to get a good viewing spot for Illuminations, including in the designated package area. If you are not are one of the first people out you have to wait for the performers to clear and then fight the crowd all the way around the lagoon and by the time you get to the designated area the best spots are full.

The sun sets about 5:30 in December in Orlando. There's some website that tells you that if you google.

After going to the 8:15 show for many years, last year we went to the 6:45 show - it was dark, so that wasn't an issue. You do eat earlier, though, which worked fine for us - we skipped lunch & were plenty hungry. The restaurant was less crowded & the service was excellent! 6:45 will be our first choice for this year!!

I just got off the phone with Disney dining, concerning a Fantasmic Dining reservation in late December. For what it's worth, she told me that, after doing final tweets tomorrow, they will be accepting CP dining reservations on Tuesday morning (at 7 AM eastern)
