Just tried "The Wave" for 1st Time

Went for dinner---- our family was picked for a "Magical Moment"--- our daughter was allowed to pick three ingredients out of a cart, and the chef used them to make a special dish for us--- she picked pineapple, mango, and strawberries, and the dish was amazing!!! They took before and after photos of the family--- great keepsake!!

As for the meal--- such a relaxing vibe in the restaurant-- food was fresh and excellent--- I had the pork tenderloin-- dw had the lobster ravioli- great kids meals as well--- oh, and the Cobb salad and soup ( chicken and wild rice) were amazing!!

Will definitely be going back!!!

That is awesome! I love the little things they do to make it more magical! Never knew they picked a family for a magical moment. Good to hear a wonderful review of the food too.. The Wave usually gets mixed reviews.

Wow that is great, sounds like fun! Was it a sweet or savory dish?

The Wave is our hidden gem for lunch - a quick Monorail ride over to CR, and we're enjoying a nice TS meal, in air conditioning, in relative quiet (well, until my family gets there, anyway), for not much more cost than a QS meal at MK. We usually follow it off with a trip to the CR game room for about 15 minutes, and then walk back to MK.

I did dinner at the Wave for the first time on my last trip in May and it was REALLY good. The waitress was awesome and the food was delicious.

I had the lamb chops and the Creamy Flight for dessert.

The DW and I had randomly picked it as one of the new restaurants that we wanted to try before seeing this thread. Now that we have we're just that much more set on it, and we went from planning a dinner reservation to a dinner and a breakfast.

You didn't happen to get a pic of the specially made dish, did you op?
