Where to Eat on First Day?

We are cruising out of Miami on the Wonder. Once we board, lunch is probably the logical thing to do first. What options available? Is there quick service food available, a buffet...or?

I reccomend the buffet. Although, not as good as Cabanas on the new ships, Beach Blanket Buffet is a good choice particularly on the first day.

Just to expand a bit...

Beach Blanket Buffet and Parrot Cay will have a nearly identical buffet. At Parrot Cay seating is all indoors, you will be seated at a table before you head to the buffet and a server will bring you your beverages. At BBB there is both inside and outside seating, you will encounter the buffet line first and you will need to get your own beverages. If the weather is nice we prefer BBB. We like to sit outside and take in the gorgeous day. (We usually bypass the buffet line, find a table so we can drop our carry ons and then head to the buffet line.) Others will tell you that they like the set up at PC better and always go there. It really is personal preference as they serve a nearly identical array of food.

With BBB you would also have the option of taking your food out by the pool if you choose. Some like this because it allows some members of the party to eat at the buffet while others can grab burgers/pizza/hot dogs/etc. from the quick serve locations.

And, as stated, room service is available for lunch from 1:30 until 30-60minutes before the safety drill.

There will be quick service, a buffet in Beach Blanket and a buffet in one of the dining rooms. The food areas won't be on for too long because they have to close a certain amount of time prior to the safety drill and after that it's room service.
