I only thought they served, never knew about the buffett so thanks for the tip. I look forward to hearing more about your trip.
Hello!! Thanks for tagging along!! I was the same before the trip, I searched and searched all the time for more info about the ship, the ports, characters, kids clubs, and the food. In the process I learned a lot about the other ships!! I hope you read on as I add on !!!

Touring the ship pt1

Touring The Ship pt 1

The Room

Our room was ready at 1:30 so at 1:20 we headed down to
room 8012 which is located at the front of the ship. And when I mean front, I
mean it. The room was at the end of the hallway but close to the elevators
and stairs!! Once we got to our room, we met the room hostess, Reeda. She
was very kind and always kept our room clean. We then got refreshed in the
room while looking out the gorgeous porthole. This was defiantly the best
part of the room.

As you can see this picture was taken on pirate night. Through out the trip
there will be more room photos, I just can't find them right now.

Another thing we loved about the room was the separate
bathrooms. The one closest to the door had a toilet & sink while the other
had a shower & sink. It was very easy to get ready during the trip. Last trip
we had 2 small inside staterooms to fit us 5 but this one room was very nice
and spacious. After getting settled in we decorated the door with our
magnets and fish-extender.

Throughout the trip we got more magnets from others. As you
can see, if you were part of the castaway club (gold, platinum, or silver) you
got a dry erase board with a marker to write messages for others. Also we
got a silver castaway club bag that was very handy. We then headed out to
see the kids clubs.

The Club (OC)

I was only in there during open house, but as DB2
said, he LOVED it. In the OC there are 4 different rooms that themed off of
Disney films. DB2's favorite was the Toy Story room.

This room was SOO cute!! I felt as if I was in the
world of Woody and Buzz.

The next room was the Nemo room. This room had a
big submarine that was defiantly kids size. I was to tall for it but DB2 liked it!!
The sub is full of computers that play kid friendly games.

Next was, my favorite, Pixie
Hollow!!!
I loved this room!! If I was little this is the
room I would probably be in. Because.......

1. It's TinkerBell themed and I LOVE TINK!!!
2. This is a dress-up room!!
3. There is drawing and I love art!!
4. The room lights up like ton's of fairy's and stars!!
5. There's a TV

The last room was Monsters Inc. This room is sort of
like a big jungle gym. It was cool looking but is probably cooler when not
open house.

The last pic of the OC..... the dance floor.

The Lab OL

Logan was only in the lab for 2 days and wanted to be
with me in the Edge. But the Edge did come and invaded the Lab a lot so we
got to see a lot of it. Just like the OC there are different room, but these
rooms aren't themed off of movies. The whole OL has a pirate theme to it.
The rooms that are in the OL are a movie/game room, art/craft room,
animator/drawing room, and the explorer room.

The explorer room is basically a room that has a game
that simulates you steering a ship. You get to pick wich ship you want to do
and where you want to port from.

You can watch movies and play video games in this
room.

In the craft room you can make arts and crafts.

I didn't take pictures of the other rooms, but all the
names of the rooms describe them self.

Dance/game floor
on this floor you could play games that where very fun.

These were like computers but with big screens in the
front.

This was the craft/eating/science area that joined the
OC & OL.

Sorry about the different size pictures!!! My computer makes
them all different sizes and I don't know why.

Touring the ship pt2

Touring the Ship pt2

The Edge

Me and DB1 were in the Edge and loved it!!! Right after
dinner every night, we would change in the room and then head straight to
the Edge. The Edge is on deck 13 mid ship( in one of the red funnels) How
can get up to Edge is that you go to the mid ship elevators or stairs and go
up to 12. Then you look for the sign that says "Edge" and enter. You have to
go up a flight of stairs to get up unless you take the elevator. There is one
elevator that takes you straight up to the Edge. You should be able to tell
which one is the Edge elevator because it's the only elevator that goes up to
deck 13. The Edge has a lot of activity's that all genders and ages (11-14)
enjoy. In the Edge, there is a outside view of the adult only pool. We can
see out but they can't see in. Other things in the Edge are a green screen
room were you can make your own films, also lots of computers and a large
ipad. Another cool thing is the 2 large screens were we watched movies and
played video games.

You will hear a lot about the Edge during this report since I was in it a lot. We then went to the pool deck (11 & 12) and took a
picture with Nigel.

When it was time for the dreaded life boat drill, we went straight to our meeting place. Our meeting place was A, the 2nd floor of the
Walt Disney Theater (deck 4) Last time, we were outside which is horrible. So when I found out we were indoors, I was so thrilled. We then all went to see the show A Fantasy Come True. I really enjoyed seeing the family in the show, on there cruise of a lifetime. After that we headed to dinner. Our 1st dinner will be in a different post but here are some before dinner pics. Our dinner rotation was ERAERRA and so the 1st night we had Enchanted Garden.

Tat ta for now !!!!!

Good job on your trip report so far. I'm really looking forward to hearing about the Edge. My daughter is 12 so she plans to spend a lot of time there.

Do you know if you are able to go to both the Oceaneer Club and the Edge? I was hoping my daughter would be able to go to both so she can hang with her little brother. Thanks!

When ever we got to the terminal, they said that DB1 could go to both to see which one he liked better. through out the trip, I saw a lot of kids, even some of my friends, have the yellow bands for the OC & OL. So , Yes, you can go to the Edge and OL. I hope I answered your question and that you have fun on your trip.!!!

Enchanted Garden Dinner

Enchanted Garden Dinner

Before dinner we all went to the show at the Walt Disney Theater, A Fantasy Come True.It was a very cool show that was basically
about a family on vacation aboard the Fantasy. I did'nt see the 1st show on
the magic, so I don't know how to judge it. Overall it was great.

One thing that makes Disney Cruise Line different is that they
have a dining rotation system. When you get your KTTW card it will have a
mixture of jumbled letters at the bottom. If you are on the Magic , the
Jumble will have a mixture of A,C, & L. Wonder, A, P, & T (might change
soon) Dream & Fantasy, E, A, & R. Our Rotation was ERAERRA. And since you
have this dining rotation, you have the same waiters every night. Our
waiters were Ashley(from India) & Mario (from Indonesia). They were both
wonderful!! So saying that, Lets get going to our 1st meal at the Enchanted
Garden.

How the layout will be

"Picture"

-What it is
-Who got it
-How it was

Appetizer

There are not any restaurant pictures since we came here for lunch.

This was not on allears.net (wich I will be using for all food post)
This was a Mushroom quiche thing that was on a leek
sauce.
- Me & DM
- This was kind of bland. Very disappointed.

North Atlantic Lobster Ravioli -
with roasted garlic and sweet basil in a light tomato broth
- Everyone but Me and DB2 (Bad choice)
- I had a bite and this was sooo good!! I'm so mad at my self for not getting
it.

Cucumber Garden Roll Filled with Julienne of Carrots, Bell
Peppers and Zucchini, flavored with Cilantro and dressed with White Shoyu
and Lemon Dressing
- DF
-He said it was good

Soups & salads

Heirloom Tomato Soup With Sour Cream, Croutons, and Basil

-ME
-Very tasty, made up for the appetizer.

Romaine Wedge - fresh crisp romaine topped with creamy
Romano dressing and homemade spiced croutons
-DF
- Said it was fresh and nice.

Main Course

Mickey Pasta- with Marinara sauce and Broccoli & Apples
-DB2
-He got this almost every night, so I think he liked it

Pan Seared Sea Bass With Fava Beans and Pea Risotto and
a sweet Chili Glaze
-DM
-She loved this fish

Pork Tenderloin Medallions with Peppercorn Sauce Potatoes,
And Spinach
-Me
-least Favorite of the trip. The sauce was awful and covered the plate. I had
to scrape it of the meat. The potatoes were burnt, And the spinach had no
flavor.

Marjoram Scented All Natural Chicken-Half a Chicken served
with oven-baked Sweet Potatoes and sautéed Baby Spinach
-DB1
-Liked the chicken, I had a few bites and it was flavorful. I had all of his
Sweet Potatoes. His Spinach was the same as mine.

Slow Roasted Prime Rib with Thyme-roasted Vegetables,
Double-baked Potato, Horseradish, and Natural Jus
-DF
-I wish I got this , It was so good. DF liked it a lot.

DF & DM

ME & DB1

Dessert

Mickey Bar
-DB2
- " It was great. Very Very Great!"

Banana Foster Sundae - rum glazed bananas, vanilla ice
cream, whipped cream and caramel sauce
- Me
- Best part of the meal!!!! Very refreshing.

Sweet Temptations - a trio of Esterhazy Cake, Strawberry
Cheesecake, and Chocolate Silk Mousse
-DM
-Only took one bite of the Cheesecake. She said it was good.

Rum Soaked Cake- with Vanilla Ice Cream
-DF
-Ate most of it and liked it.

Overall the meal was good, Besides my Appetizer and Entree.
I personally would give this meal a & 1/2 every one else might give it
maybe a 4 or 4 1/2. We loved the scenery and design of the restaurant. Also
the changing flowers.

Have a Flutterific Day!!!!!

This is such a fun trip report - it makes me really miss the Fantasy. DS12 just went to the Edge on the Wonder, and he said he liked it better than the Fantasy. That probably equals "more time to play video games". LOL! Glad they let your brother join you in the Edge. I had a feeling when we chatted during your pre-trip report that he might have outgrown the Lab activities. My son also thought the "cave" atmosphere of the Edge on the classic ships, down in the depths on the 2nd deck, was more fun. Personally, I would have liked the spaciousness and brightness on deck 13, but maybe it's a girl thing. Looking forward to more!

Thank you for following along!! I recently had a friend go on the Magic (right before they changed it) and she didn't care for it. The Magic and Wonder are sister ships and a lot alike, Including the Edge. She said that her 2 cousins that were boys loved it. I guess that the Edge on the Wonder and Magic are more darker and "boyish" (maybe not the Magic anymore) and the Fantasy and Dream more bright, playful, and a little bit more "girlish". I personally would like the newer ships Edge.

Royal Court Breakfast

Royal Court Breakfast

I am sorry that I haven't been posting anything for a while!!! I
have had my dance recital, dance competition, sleepovers, swimming, and
enjoying SUMMER!! So with out further ado........

I did not take any pics of RC because we went there for
dinner. I will talk about the restaurant when I talk about dinner. I woke up
around 7a.m. ready for our 1st full at sea day. Well it seemed like rest of the
family wasn't . I got dressed and ready for the day while the rest of the family
was sleeping like little babys....... till I woke them up. Once they were
up, Me, DF, DB1 & 2 went down to RC while DM finished getting ready. When
you sit down you order your drink and a pastry. I got apple juice and a apple
turnover.

Fruit and yogurt
ME & DF
Okay....so on the menu it said "fruit AND yogurt" not Fruit yogurt. This was
not even really good yogurt.

French Toast and Pineapple Stack- Layers of French Toast
and Grilled Pineapple, topped with Strawberry Coulis, Maple Glaze and Fruit
salad
Me
Since I didn't get any fruit with my yogurt I got this. This was very good and
refreshing. It was lighter than some other breakfast's I had.

Disney Cruise Line Breakfast Trio- French Toast, Belgian
Waffle and Buttermilk Pancakes served with Cinnamon Butter, Syrup and
Whipped Cream accompanied with Bacon
DF & DB1
They started to eating this before I could take a pic. They liked the variety on the plate.

Mickey’s Special Combo Platter- Mickey Waffle with Scrambled
Eggs and a Pancake Tower
DB2
He liked it.

Traditional Eggs Benedict- Toasted English Muffin with Grilled
Canadian Bacon served with Poached Egg topped with Hollandaise Sauce,
grilled Roma Tomatoes and link Sausages
DM
She was still full from last night so she ate only half of 1. She liked it though.

Our view from our port hole in RC.

Breakfast was good and I liked it way better than the buffet. I gave it !! PEACE OUT
